has anyone been to the villager premier lately, any views also does anyone know where the welcome meeting is held:bounce: princess:

We were there in September - its a basic motel type hotel . It suited our needs to a tee - as we simply used it as a place to crash out . The plus points for me were the fact that you can walk to Sea World , the staff were very friendly and its located next door to a subway , pizza shop , off license , benningans and garage plus a few eateries . When we were there the hotel offered free shuttles to WDW

As far as I know the meeting is across the road at the Sheraton

The hotel was very basic but I believe if you book through a Travel Agent you get a microwave and fridge

Hope this helps - feel free to ask any other questions

thanks for that, what is the free transport like, does it run regular, also is the free breakfast in the hotel worth having

We're going again this year for the fourth time. As the previous post said it is a great hotel to just crash out in. The free hotel breakfast is mainly DIY toast, muffins amd DIY tea, coffee or juice. If i rembember rightly i think they start breakfast at about 7 /7.30. We found that the little ice buckets you have in your room can hold 4 cups at one time leaving the other hand free to carry the toast back to the room . We still went to ponderosa for breakfast though as the hotel one isn't really one that would set you up for a hard day at the parks.

You can also get the pool barman to order you a flippers pizza if you want to crash out by the pool of an evening.

We don't really use the village inn (restaurante next door) as it was a bit pricey like a little chef over here.

When you check in at the VP just make sure you have the fridge and microwave in as we had to change rooms. They put us in a room without the last time we were there.

We found this hotel very handy for the I ride. When we went in Oct/Nov last year the free shuttles were at designated times to and from the parks. It was just a case of queuing up for them in the mornings.

hope this info helps

regards
biggy
