Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Does anyone use the Wikets app on here? I've made $45 (soon to be $60) in Amazon gift cards off that one. You recommend products and get points. 1500 equals a $15 gc, but you can only get 50 points a day. Minimal effort though. :thumbsup2

No I haven't, but sounds interesting. It's funny how even with the decreased point opportunities in Viggle, I still was able to cash out for a $25 Best Buy card in 15 days. (Averaged 3,333 points daily.) Just redeemed for it this morning! :cool1:

With Wikets it takes 30 days to cash out for a $15 gc....if I crunched those numbers correctly...

Not as great as Viggle, but heck, I could do it on the side. I'll have to check it out, thanks for sharing!

Yeah, but Wikets is about 1/10 the time commitment of Viggle, plus it has Amazon. Viggle takes a good amount of time, and I've been slacking lately. Took me 5 days to get to 9000. I miss the 7500... The way I'm going, that's a whole extra day. You're doing good still, though.

That said, I can probably get the majority of my family's Christmas gifts through these apps if I'm creative enough.

Yes, with all the changes Viggle has made it's definitely harder to earn points. That being said, the past 15 days was me not being motivated, and not pushing my hardest! I never stayed up for a reset, never did the ads early in the morning. And I didn't get points for every featured show....even though I checked into all of them. And on the weekends, I don't even get all the 12 hours of check ins.

So it's nice to see that I can still earn $25 every 15 days even with slacking off a bit. I'm glad to go at this pace, because after doing Viggle since January, it's nice to take a break! :rotfl2:

I am new to this. My question is How do you check into all of the featured shows. I thought you could check into one show at a time.

You only need to be checked in for 10 minutes to get he bonus points. So you check into a show the about 12 minutes later (to be on the safe side) you check into the next one.

My husband and I haven't watched tv normally for months, ever since we discovered viggle.

Thanks. Now it will get really interesting in my house. I either just turn the channel to the feature show check in and then turn it back to a baseball game. (Go Rangers). Sometimes I have it running in the bedroom. So, starting tonight there will be alot of channel changing or walking back and forth.

Some days I haven't even checked in much at all and I've been terrible with reaching 12 hours. Good for you though; maybe I'll try to be better. I needed a break, though. I find it getting a little boring for me after 3 months, and sometimes I just go to bed instead.
 
I was just reading on Viggle's FB page about the new version of Viggle 1.0.7 (May 25th).

Looks like upgrading would be a benefit for those who are concerned about false account bans. Viggle posted this on FB:

This update will begin to prevent those unexpected account suspensions! There will always be folks who try to scam the system though, so we do have in place anti-fraud detection.

Great news...hopefully this will be the end of accidental bans. I was forced to upgrade this morning anyway....Viggle app was acting goofy and I couldn't log in.

I never switch the channel. If you are trying to check-in while the show is actually airing just try to check in twice and then do the manual check-in.

Any shows I miss because I went to sleep, I try the next day to find clips online and do the check ins then.

Same thing with me. It was saying couldn't connect and when I tried to login, it told me that I must download the new version...stinks
 
I am having trouble with the fanatics ad the past few days. It is everywhere but when I click on it and watch the ad, I don't get any points for it.
 
I just came across one of those new games that Viggle was talking about, but it wouldn't load properly. Darn! I just e-mailed Viggle Support to give them a heads up about it.

The ad says: "+125 Play the 3-Point Game to earn up to 125 points." When I click to enter the game I just got a black screen with a little blue box w/question mark.

Hopefully they'll fix soon so we can play! :goodvibes
 
Grrrrr.....everytime they do a new release they release the android version last and in the mean time my app continually shuts down when I try to do almost anything.

I have the IOS version, was forced to download the new one this morning, and in the past 10 minutes I've been kicked out twice! So annoying...:rolleyes:

Yea, my DH has the Android version as well. Hopefully the new update will do you guys some good. There are times I want to throw my DH's phone across the room! That Android Viggle app really tests my patients.

I've had the update since it first came out and no problems, actully I think it is a GREAT improvement as the ads refresh on the popup screen. No need to pop in and out.
