Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Thanks for the info. My mom watches tv all day as she is 82 and doesn't do much else. This will be great for her as she can get all these points and then do her Christmas shopping!

Yesterday and today I've had many 50/75 point ads! :thumbsup2

Anyone else notice that Viggle hasn't had a Viggle Live trivia in several days? For awhile there were a handful of Play Alongs every night, but I haven't seen any in days....

Has Viggle done the drawing and announced the winner of the 1 million points yet?

They are dealing with some legal and tax issues before naming the winner. As far as I know the winner hasn't even been notified yet.

Legal and taxes issues...how weird! You would think Viggle would have ironed that out prior to even having the contest....oh, well. Thanks for the update!

Yeah, I haven't seen any live events in a few days. It seems like they had so many before.

Ok, got another response back from Viggle when I replied that it was the correct episode

Our engineers are currently looking into this issue.

We hope to have resolution soon.

They've alreayd posted on Facebook and Twitter last night that the points will be given out today, they have to just put in the script.

It would be nice if they would say that in their email responses. I don't follow them on twitter and haven't been on facebook because it's blocked at work. I email them because it's easier for me.

It seems like the social media people have a direct line into the engineering department while CS does not. Always better to interface on Twitter if you have problems.

I barely get on twitter anymore. I should start again, at least for viggle.

Viggle Live is back tonight for 2 shows; Around the World in 80 Plates, and Celtics at Heat.

Hey guys!

Just a head's up - one of my friends got her first 2045 error message today when trying to redeem for 9,000 points. She has only been doing the 9,000 points for Lowes so she doesn't sit on them too long. When she emailed them, she got the form response about their systems flag accounts for suspicious activity. With the very limited ad's lately, she has no clue what she might have done and naturally when she wrote them back to ask WHAT she did, they didn't answer her. She was unbanned right away but she is scared to death now. She doesn't share check-in's which is what they mentioned in their form response and she doesn't remember any strange ad's crediting right away, nor has she "ad smashed". She doesn't even get to 2,000 a day, nor near the 12 hours.

SO - I'm not sure if there was another ad out there that was "off" like the Burger King ad situation a several weeks ago but I wanted to give you guys a head's up. Not really sure what she could do differently so perhaps it was a fluke. I have 36,000 and 39,000 on our devices so I'm hoping when I reach my next 50,000 I won't have the same issue.

It seems like the ad's were running freely this morning and last night as several have commented on so I hope there wasn't an issue that is flagging people.

Anyone else have this happen recently for the first time? :confused3

Thanks,
Heather

Can someone please help me?
I have the pitch card from Best Buy and I am wondering how I can add my Viggle gift cards to it.
When I called and asked them they said you can not add cards to a pitch card. Is this right?
TIA

No, I haven't been banned but just wanted to comment. Your friend should look into their points history log for the period since they last redeemed a reward until they got banned. Even if it wasn't a specific ad that banned them, it could have been just hitting too many ads in a short time. (For example if she is doing ads during the reset, that might flag.)

Have you seen those 'Test your IQ Trivia' ads? I just did one yesterday and the questions were focused on The Secret Circle. You get 4 questions, each worth 5 points. Someone claims they got banned from hitting this too much.

Or maybe your friend isn't giving you the whole story. From what you describe your friend is the perfect Viggle user, but that doesn't make sense why she would get banned for doing nothing. I think her best bet is digging into her points history. Maybe Viggle's thought of "ad smashing" is different than what we think...

Nope. You CAN add your viggle best buy gift card to your pitch in card. After adding your pitch in card to your best buy online account, find where you can contribute to your pitch in card. Mine is under my wish list. Contribute how much you have in best buy gift cards, $25.00, 50.00, whatever. Then when you go to pay, you scroll down to where you put in a BB gift card and enter the info you got from the viggle BB gift card. It will not go on there right away. If you do it during business hours, it will go on there pretty quick, 2 hours? I have read not to do it on Sat. and Sun. for some reason. It has worked for me the 3 times I have done it.

I don't follow slick deals or any of the other viggle threads around the net... any info on how popular the 5 million points entry is? I entered once and my mom has entered 7 times. I'm just curious to see if other viggle users are entering multiple times.

I haven't heard much about it, really. I haven't even entered once yet.

I catch up on the Slickdeals Viggle thread...and a few people there said they enter the 5 million point contest just to see if their account has been suspended. I picture a lot of people entering the contest multiple times for this reason alone! ;)

Because it's so cheap to enter that contest, I would think many people would enter the contest multiple times. However, me and DH only entered once. Figured with over 600,000 Viggle users and the ability to have multiple entries, that the odds are so against us. I know, we don't sound like fun people, do we? :rotfl2:
