Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

This is great! Has anyone figured out how to use the rewards for Disney? I'm currently doing a couple of other rewards sites that will let me get a Disney gift card directly, and others that I have to figure out how to make the rewards work for Disney.

You can buy Disney gift cards at Target.

That'd be great....if we didn't live in what could possibly be the ONLY state without a Target! I'll have to check their website to see if I can order there. I'm not sure it would be worth a 2 hour drive for a gift card exchange!

Hmmm.....I don't remember all of the companies on there but maybe you could do the old cost switcheroo. Use that money for Christmas presents or something and then use the Christmas money towards vacation?

Viggle has updated their rewards....including $15 gift cards for Target! Check it out. :thumbsup2

I noticed the Amazon Kindle is gone. The app has only been live for less than a month, and they're already out of Kindles?! I guess people really were racking up points!

I don't know if the 10,000 for the Oscars counts towards the 12,000 limit for the day....that would be a good question to ask Viggle. :upsidedow

By the way, the $15 Target cards for 21,000 points is a better deal than the $5 cards at 7,500 points. So I'm not buying the $5 anymore.

Diznee,
do you have a link to the online page where you can combine the Target cards...The Target web site just doesn't like me today, Thanks

Just a quick update.

I ended up emailing Viggle this morning and as others have stated, they are great about responding. Indeed there was an error showing the $5 Target cards in stock when they weren't. They of course said they restock all the time and to keep checking.

Then not that long ago as Diznee25 mentioned, I saw the $15 Target one. :cool1: Now if I can only save the 21000 to get there :lmao: It is indeed a better deal since it saves 1500 points.

I've learned not to completely freak over the points not showing. Sometimes they are added right away, sometimes they get lumped together (like 2 shows together an hour later), so I just try my best to jot down where I last was and sort of eyeball it. I do know the other day when they acknowledged they had issues, I never got those points in full. It's okay - I'm grateful for what I have earned so far!!

It's amazing how quickly Viggle responds to e-mails...I also inquired to them this morning! But it was about the Oscars in regards to the daily limit of 12,000 points.

Viggle said "For special events the daily limit will be raised." (To what??)

Kind of a vague response considering my question was very specific, "Does the 10,000 points for the Oscars count towards the 12,000 points limited per day? Or can we actually accumulate up to 22,000 points on Sunday?"

Take from that what you will....my guess is the 12,000 limit per day is separate from the 'Special Event Points.' Which to me would indicate that one could potentially earn up to a total of 22,000. But since Viggle didn't state that in the e-mail, who knows?!

The Viggle Bowl and the Grammy's worked that way. I was able to rack up points all day long, and get all my points from the Special Events.

Guess we'll have to wait and see how the Oscars work out. :surfweb:

tink576: I noticed that others have mentioned my name in regards to being able to combine Target gift cards...but it wasn't me...must have mixed me up with other Diser! :o All I know is that I use the Target app on my phone...the app allows you to keep all your gift cards in one place. But I don't know if the app will combine all of them into one.....

I'm the one who combines Target gift cards. Set up an account here after you click my gift cards:
http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/mobile_mytarget.jsp

Add your cards. Click combine. At that point, if you have an iPod Touch, leave open the page, shut off your iPod, bring it to Target, and turn on your iPod at checkout. The last opened page will still appear for the employee to scan.

Thanks Diznee for the points update for the Oscars and QVCshopper for the target app

Does anyone have multiple Viggle users in their household, each with their own account?

I remember someone asking if Viggle accounts were only one per household, or if it's one per person...I can't find anything in the FAQ's about this. :surfweb:

I want to know because as soon as the app is available for Android my husband wants to join. Like many others, we are using the Target gift cards to buy WDW cards. WDW here we come!

Thanks!

I believe I asked that and I never got a real response. I don't see anything on their site that restricts it to one per household and reading through the twitter when people have problems they refer about theirs and their spouses accounts and the viggle twitter guys have never said anything about it so I suppose it's all right.

My husband and I each have our own account.

Thanks guys, good to know!

Now if only I can disicipline myself to only get Target gift cards. Lately I've been getting the Barnes and Noble cards. Because you can hold up to 3 gift cards on BN account, that's $15....3 ($5) cards from Viggle. I love to read my Nook Color and it's been great getting free books! :goodvibes

But it was actually my husband's idea to do the Target/WDW gift card thing....I'm surprised he's that disiplined since we're not going until 2014. :rotfl2: But with both of us doing it, we should have $1,000 in WDW gift cards this year! :cloud9: Assuming Viggle doesn't shut down, and will continue to offer Target gift cards. If they continue over the next few years, we could potentially have a total of $1,900 to pay towards our trip. :cheer2: But that's too far out to count on. One month at a time!

They just announced on facebook that there is an update for the app at the itunes store

Quick question, it is letting me watch the dove video multiple times. It also updates my points by 30 each time? Will they take back the points later on? What other ways are all of you racking up points?

When you upgrade to the new version of Viggle, the Terms of Use are displayed for you to agree to. I took the time to read through all of it, albeit most of it boring!

It was mentioned in there that Viggle has the right to take away points at any time, without notifying the user/member. Several members have posted on Viggle's FB page because they have noticed the same thing as you; that Viggle is giving points for multiple hits of the ads/trailers, even though they have that rule: "given points twice per day for each engagement."

So I'm confused about that whole thing. Viggle e-mailed me saying that we could watch the ads/trailers/games as many times as we want. And that Viggle would only give out points for the first 2 times for each.....Well since they are giving out extra points, that's certainly no fault of ours. But they still have the right to take away points if they want.

To answer your other question, not sure if there are other ways to rack up points. Watch as many as the feature shows as possible since those have the check-in bonus points! :thumbsup2

Maybe others out there might have more tips to share!
