Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Anyone have a 3rd generation iPod that they have been using for Viggle?? I went and bought a mini-micophone off Ebay...finally got here a month later and it does not work. I plug it in....and still cannot Viggle. Just wanted to see if anyone else has a 3rd gen iPod and what they did to get a functional microphone.

I wanted to make sure that I don't go over the 12 hour limit a day (which I did last week and didn't get paid for a show because he went over a 1/2 hour). Does it reset at midnight Eastern time?

I don't always get 12 hours but some days especially on rainy days during the week, I do have the TV on alot.

Also, I didn't get the bonus points for the Planet show either yesterday afternoon. I read it was a mistake but I still didn't get the points? Did anybody else?

I believe it does reset at midnight. As for the Frozen Planet points, I had emailed Viggle & they said we would be getting the points, but it could take a couple days. So give it time.

I can still get a $5 gift card every 2-3 days. I don't think that is too bad. Yes, not the cash cow it once was, but still decent. I'm getting Lowes and B&N at every 7500 points--no more stockpiling for me.

I have the 3rd generation and I bought some earbuds with microphone at best buy, iFROGZ. They work great and since there are so few ads now, it is really nice to be able to check in. Good Luck!

30 is the new 75!

Me too, I get excited when seeing the 30 pointers because those are the highest point videos out there. And I get really sad when I see a 5 pointer.

I still average a $10 gift card every 4 to 5 days, not too bad. That's about $60 to $70 Sephora gift cards per month. That's what I'm currently saving for!

Thanks for the info on this app. However, I'm not earning any points! I've watched about 20 commercial clips thst are worth +15 each...and I still have 0 points. :-(. No sign on bonus either.

If you've watched the video clips all the way through, and you notice your point total not updating try the following:

1. Click on your profile pic, and sometimes your points will update.

2. You may need to turn off your iPhone, turn back on. This resets the Viggle app.

3. Uninstall and reinstall the app. No, you won't lose personal info, or points. (I've done this before.)

As for the sign on bonus, they may have gotten rid of it, (like most everything else they've taken away.) I recommend contacting Viggle about that. That's 1500 points you could have!

If those 3 things don't work, (in regards to your point total updating), you'll need to contact Viggle Support and have them look into it.

ETA: Viggle is still doing the 1500 bonus points for new accounts. So you should contact them...

Ok, Verizon ads are what, 15 points? Viggle has dropped them to 5 points!!

I still have a hunch that Viggle is not done lowering points. Those 30 point Gatorade ads will drop...we should enjoy them while we can!

Ever since Viggle decreased the Gatorade ads to 30 points, I've been having a hard time finding them. Tons of sports searches have left me dry today, so I just started searching for anything! The less letters you type into the search function, the more results that will appear.

Type in the following words, or sets of letters:

1. the (this brings up shows with the word 'the'.) Tons of 15 pointers under this search result! Especially for The Office.

2. Li (don't ask me why I chose that, but a few on that list including 'Lingo' has ads.


Anyone else want to try searching for weird words or phrases? Post if the results bring up points!

Yea, the 'Most Chatter' area never pans out for me, I've never gotten any ads there....I guess it's a "Your mileage may vary" type of a thing.

But I do go into my 'Check-in History' page, and I've had very good luck there. This will greatly vary because not everyone checks into the same shows, (at least during the day.)

WTH, I finally get points after a several day long lag, and have enough for my 4th sephora $10, and that reward is now gone!!!! I wanted to place an order and now I have to either wait or choose something else.

Glad I cashed in for the last $30 worth.
