Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Tink576 is correct. It's one account per person. If you happen to own multiple devices, you can access your account on them....but you can only have one account per person.

Having multiple accounts per person is probably a good way to get banned from Viggle! So I would think twice before doing that. Just my opinion....

Noticed that poster mentioned multiple people in their household, thanks for clarifying!! :worship:

But still good info for everyone to think about. :thumbsup2

Gotcha.

I just got DH to sign up - so I can do check ins with his iPad.

I'll get one of the dds to sign up, so I can do check ins on my iPad.

I have the app on my phone for me. :lmao:

I used my vigglLe BB gift cards to purchase a happy bday gift cards online.
It went through ok but a day later BB sent email they canceled
My order. Saying they couldn't verify info. Anyone have this problem?

I had that happened to me...Not sure why? I printed my cards and took them to the store and exchanged them for physical cards without any problems. I really don't get why we can't do it online anymoe.

Yep, had it happen the very last time I tried it. :confused3 I had read that it was happening to others when they tried to redeem more than one in an order. I had done about 3 single ones (takes me longer to earn them compared to some of the folks on SD) and each one went through fine - except for the last attempt about 2 weeks ago. Like another poster mentioned, I just have DH run into the store when he's in the area and usually buy Amazon gift cards with them or the actual BestBuy gift cards - not a single issue there. :thumbsup2

Perhaps BestBuy has made changes now online? :confused3

I haven't had that issue and i've ordered 5 this way so far.

FYI for those who haven't heard yet- starting today (april 9) points are changing to 1 point per minute- making the bonus checkins and those elusive ads even more important!

Thanks for the update. That really does stink! Points are really getting hard to come by. This weekend was really hard to get points. I've also found that there are more ad opportunities now in the evening rather than during the day but overall there aren't nearly as many as there used to be :sad2:

Oh, dang! That explains why I only got half the points I expected this morning. :(

I also just noticed that the Best Buy redemption option is gone, but they have Amazon and Target back - 50,000 points for a $25 gift card.

The way I look at it is this.......as much as people are used to more ads and per minute points. This is still getting you FREE stuff.....I am not one to complain about that. Maybe they are getting ready to release it to other applications other than Iphone/touch/pads....

Hope they bring BB back as soon as the amazon/Target ones run out. I am new to Viggle and almost had enough for BB. I am bummed I need 15,000 more points to get the same dollar amount for amazon or Target!

Wow, I didn't even know that! But I can't say that I'm surprised. If every user maxed out at 12,000 points per day, Viggle would probably go out of business. That's a little bit shy of a $10 GC every day. So glad Viggle did the point change today and not April 1st, that would have just confused people! :lmao:

I wonder when Best Buy GCs come back if they will be 50,000 points instead of 37,500....you know, to match the Target and Amazon GCs?

It'll take awhile to reach 50,000 points for those Target GCs now! :sad2: :rotfl2: (I don't know whether to laugh or cry!)

Oh boy, a lot of Viggle members aren't taking this well! I'm reading Twitter as well as Viggle's FB page. :surfweb:

I hope that doesn't mean my redemption I printed out on Friday won't be honored. Guess I need to run to Best Buy today!

If you already redeemed for a GC, you'll be fine. Viggle running out of BB GCs has nothing to do with Best Buy not accepting an e-gift card that you got a few days ago. :thumbsup2

Wow - I just got a BestBuy one over the weekend. Glad I didn't wait till this morning to redeem my points. I now have 3 worth $75.00. I was hoping to get at least $100.00 to put toward a Kindle Fire for my birthday in May. Hope they bring them back. If not I guess I could get Target but that is alot more points for the same dollar amount :sad1:.

Viggle support said Best Buy cards will be back, they just ran out and ordered more inventory. :thumbsup2

They'll probably be at a higher point redemption price when they comes back. I think I may stop viggle because it's just taking too much time for me. I watch a lot of TV but it's mostly DVR and going back and forth to check in to live TV drives my husband crazy, lol.

Not complaining, though, it was nice while it lasted! Can't complain when something is free :)

diznee25, Thanks for posting this! Like others, I will expect that the cards will take more Viggle points to get, but as others have also said, it's "free money" that I wouldn't have access to otherwise!

I've figured out how to check-in without having to change the channel... just do a regular check-in but created enough background noise (a low hum or something) so that your device can't detect the program that's actually airing. You have to do that twice and then you can manually search for what you're wanting to check in to. That's the compromise we came up with so I'm not switching channels to let my device do the auto recognition check-in. If I'm the only one watching, I'll switch the channel but if others in my family are also watching, I don't (unless it's a commercial). Like you, we watch a lot of DVRed programs. The thing about Viggle is that it's introducing me to shows I didn't even know were on and now I want to watch!!! (oops, guess it's doing it's job then, right?)

Wow, thanks so much for letting me know this. I understand what you mean about taking alot of time. I will be starting a new job on Monday so I will probably not want to have my phone out all the time checking for ads.

My DH also thinks I am crazy - I am always holding the phone up to the tv. I try to go into our kitchen to check into something if he is watching something on a different station.

Anyone else have a hard time this Saturday checking into TKAM? It took me a good 15 minutes. My SIL and BIL were over and they thought I was crazy. I didn't want to get into the whole Viggle thing with them.
