I hope the regulars won't mind a post from a newbie. I only signed up last week, because I didn't know about the program before. I've only had my iPhone a little over a month, so I didn't miss out for too much, but I probably would have been on my way to a 2nd $25. But I used to do a lot of rewards program "back in the day." Freeride, Beenz, Search Cactus, Milesource, My Points, etc. I missed the heyday of those too, but still was making decent money. But it would take a month to reach a $25 level at best, and then it became 2 or even 3 months to earn that much with a program. I'm loving that only after a week, I'm almost at a $25 level. And I love that my DH can have an account and do it on his phone too, so we're almost at $50.
I know Olympic trivia will be going away, and points won't come as easy as old-time Vigglers are used to. But even at 2000 pts a day, the $25
Amazon level is reached at less than a month. And watching tv programs is something I do everyday, so even if points are "stingy," I'd rather be making $25 every month or even 2 months or 3 months than be watching the same shows and having nothing. Checking-in for your regular shows takes so little time compared to doing those older rewards rewards programs. Right now, I can't imagine thinking, "I'm not going to push a couple buttons to check-in because I'm not making as much as I used too." I'm not even planning on checking-in with all the bonus shows, just because enough of my regular shows seem to show up with bonus and it's still seems like free money for a small amount of commitment (once this Olympic trivia is done, this is crazy, but still kind of fun).
