Views of the characters

I always wanted to stay in a standard room or preferred facing the characters or the objects at the All Stars. What type of view is that called to put in a request?

We have had success with this by requesting "courtyard view." You are correct, in that, depending on which section of which All-Star resort you are looking to stay at, these rooms may be either standard or preferred. Typically, preferred rooms are those closer to the resorts' main buildings. Also, the sections closest to the main buildings that overlook the feature pools are a bookable category; "preferred pool view."
