Viewing Wishes fireworks outside the park

Been trying to search for this as I'm SURE someone has asked it before, but the search keeps saying the server is busy. Soooo, I'll just ask.

I'm hoping to be able to find a location outside MK that provides a pretty good view of the Wishes fireworks. I know a dinner at the California Grill would be perfect timing, but we will be doing the Hoop-Dee-Doo that evening.

Any suggestions? I won't be using a park pass that day, thus the reason we won't be going to MK after HDDR.

We have an ADR for the Kona Cafe at 7:10pm I was thinking we could watch WISHES from the beach (after dinner). Do you think the timing would be right? Do they let non-guests on the beach?

What's a "non-guest"?

Yes, anyone who wants to go to the beach to watch Wishes is OK.

You didn't give us the DATE that you will BE there, so I can't tell you if the TIMING will work or not.
