Viewing Water Pageant

I can remember watching this from when we stayed at the Contemporary some years ago. Would like to see it again but not much slack time in this trip's schedule. Probably won't want to take the time to run over to a resort on the monorail. Would there be pretty fair viewing from someplace outside the MK? And, thinking it runs either right before or right after the fireworks would there be a good view of those from the same location? One you can hear the music/narration from?

We saw it on our first night at the Polynesian, and got a good view, too. Being our first time, and being so "Disney dumbstruck" we were highly confused as to what was going on. I just know I looked out towards the water and seen an octopus all lit up! So all in all, I'd say the Polynesian beach area is a good vantage point!

These are the normal times but could vary. check the times guide when you arrive.

Polynesian Resort -- 9 p.m.
Grand Floridian -- 9:15 p.m.
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35 p.m.
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45 p.m.
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05 p.m.
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20 p.m. (only during extended MK park
hours)

we caught it in front of the MK while waiting for the ferry after wishes on 10/17..... I think Wishes was at 9pm and we hung around to catch the kiss goodnight. We also did some shopping on our way out of the park, so I'd say the 10:20 time from the previous poster is pretty accurate......

I would also say that the previous posted times are pretty accurate. We saw it from "OHana 3 weeks ago and it was just about 9 PM. There was no audio in the restaurant, so it was not as impressive as from the beach. Enjoy!

The Poly is the best spot to see it from.

Great, I hadn't thought about that but of course it has to go back where it came from and if MK is open it would make sense to go by there.....

The kiss goodnight is a music/announcement/lightshow they do with the castle to wish everyone a goodnight. There was a link to a video of it somewhere on this board. Very cool!
