viewing pix from a CD?

My mother brought over a CD with photos on it to share with me.

I cannot figure out how to load them onto my computer (run, add new program, etc)

Can you help?

If it is a photo CD, like Kodak, is should have a self running program on it. Just insert and it should start by itself. If not, go to Windows Explorer and look for the D drive (most likely D) and there should be a program there in the list to run.

If it is just a CD with pictures on it, same thing, I would go to Windows Explorer, click on a picture file, it should bring up your default viewer and then just forward through them.
