viewing 4th's fireworks--where???

I may have missed discussion lately on where to view the 4th's fireworks. I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.
Anyway, we will be staying at the CSR, but not going into the parks on the 4th. Was wondering where you would recommend to see the best fireworks. What time should we arrive.
We do not want to intrude on other people at other resorts--so where should we go and what time to see the fireworks? /thanks

Bump! I can't think of many ideas without a priority seating at a restaurant (and it's probably too late for that idea!). If you CAN get a priority seating at any of the MK resorts, that would be the best idea.

Without priority seating, you could take a bus to the Ticket & Transportation Center, and then ride the monorail to the Contemporary Resort. You might be able to watch the fireworks from the roof top or from one of the many outside stairwells.

I'm not sure if it's crowded in the stairwells on the 4th of July (or if it's a fire hazard). Many people at CR have balconies to watch the fireworks, so you might have better luck at that resort than at the Poly or GF beaches.

After the fireworks, you can turn around and watch the electrical water pageant float across Bay Lake

Im trying to remember but I think someone mentioned that the boat dock by the ticket and transportation center was a good place to go watch them. I believe it was Chip and Dale Express who posted that so you might want to PM him and ask him.
