View of the Starlit Hui from our rooms?

Hi all

I've seen it mentioned that some people have gotten a view of the Star Lit hui from their balcony. Does anyone know which room category you need to book for this and what requests you make to stand the best chance of getting this view please?

We requested "Ewa long wing 1 Bdrm Villa Island Garden highest floor lawn overlooking Starlit Hui lawn" and had the request noted on our reservation. We got a fifteenth floor room almost dead center forward of the show, and saw and heard it all clearly.

It is the Island View category.

The first post lists the locations and categories of all the rooms. In addition, there are several links to photos of the views from certain rooms.
The area where you can view the Halawa Lawn is the Long Wing of the Ewa Tower. You can also get a view of the ocean at this location. We had two 2-Bdr villas (781 and 787). The location and view was great for viewing the Starlit Hui and the Ohana Movie Night.

This is exactly what we requested for our island view studio but we didn't get our request. Remember, it's only a request - they won't guarantee you get it. We ended up on the 16th floor but we were in the SHORT wing of the Ewa tower not the long wing. I think it will depend on how full the resort is when you go if they have the wiggle room to grant what you requested. Just sayin'.
