View of Key West sunset from starboard verandah??

Just curious if you can see the sunset from your verandah at Key West?? (I'm on the starboard side...)

I've heard the sunset is spectacular and thought it'd be awesome to experience it from the verandah.

Would also like your thoughts on other great places to see the sunset...

We could see it from our Port side verandah.

Starboard side you'd be facing Key West. I'd suggest heading up to Deck 10 or even Deck 4 on port side, or the "no longer secret" Deck 7 Aft sundeck.

We saw it from 6044, but I wanted to add that the deck 7 "secret' deck looked pretty secret to us--the 3 times we checked it out it was empty! And GORGEOUS!

Yes, dont bother trying to fight for a place in Mallory Square! Enjoy a relaxed view of the sunset in Key West from Secret deck 7, deck 9 or 10 aft or verandah. No "pick-pockets" to worry about on the ship! Enjoy those sun-sets, they are priceless. Nat

does the time of sunset vary quite a bit throughout the year here or does it stay the same?

Just wondering how our dining rotation will work with the possibility of viewing them.

Deck 4 is a great place. There are chairs out there (get there about an hour before it sets to get a seat) and there are some benches too. The bad thing about Deck 4 is that people from dinner come out there and smoke. So if that doesn't bother you, then that's a great place. It's right in eye line view and you can see it from the beginning to end. I got some awesome pictures at different stages as it was descending.

How do I get there?



P.S. YEA - I'm now into double digits in my countdown!!!!!!!

The deck is all the way aft on deck 7. There is rarely anyone else out there and it is nice and relaxing (but Topsiders/Beach Blanket overlooks it.)
