videographer, any recommendations??

Hi Everyone

I am starting to think that having some one video our wedding may be a good idea.
We were just going to have family do this for us to save on costs but i am starting to wonder if this is such a good idea.

Any recommendations would be appreciated as well as costings.

I second that - we used Star Fruit too and are really happy so far (of course, we don't have our video quite yet ).

I have to say, I totally did not want a video until I saw Star Fruit's demo. Then it became the thing I was most excited about. I think your guests will enjoy just being guests and not having to worry about capturing every moment on camera!

you're welcome hun... it's a lot of money to pay out, to find out when you get home that you cant watch it!

we are using stvs but we looked at apexmedia, visual effects by seth and star fruit before picking stan

apexmedia and seth are alot cheaper than the rest I found star fruit the most expensive but they look very good

we have the 4 hour stylised edit pacakge and are paying 1350 not sure if this is a special offer cos when i first spoke with him the same package was $1650. we put 300 down as a deposit and the rest is due 2 weeks before or when ever you want to pay i guess.

I think he is still trying to restructure his new price list. We had the 4 hour stylized High Definition package and paid somewhere around $1500.. I'll have to actually go back and double check the final price. I know it bounced up a little because we went with high definition. He sent me a short proof the other day and I have to say it was great! I absolutely love what he is doing with the video.. although you will never convience me that my voice is that country or shrill in real life LOL LOL

the email i got from sta fruit just before your wedding was over $2000 for the starting package thats why we didnt go for them

yes i did and she just said it was like a $50 discount and that you booked before they had got big or something like that

That is weird - her website says $1400... I guess the price changes depending on each wedding's individual needs.
