Video Trip Report- April 27-May 4

Cast: Me, Spectro is #1 (Chris), Wife (Kim), Pumba's Mom DVC Members
guest stars: The Beaudoin's (owners at West Gate time share) Bob, Robyn, and son Colten (he is 2 and a half) and Bob's Parents.
We are all from CT.

First, I stink at typing and spelling so a video report is my version of the cheaters way out. Much respect to those who type out the whole reports. And some of them are so funny (like Brenda's) that I bow at your feet chanting I'm not worthy over and over. Thank you for some great reports over the years to all of you.
After several trips to WDW this is my first report.

The purpose of the videos is to tell the story of each vacation day. All in the order that it happened and to be as entertaining as possible. I hope you aren't board! The format is in that of a reality TV show. Segments are short with a lot of great music. Not all the rides and attractions we went on are covered but for those of you who long for a taste of "the world" it should give you a quick fix.

Background info: We flew from Hartford (which is in Windsor Locks) airport to Tampa and stayed for 2 nights. On Sunday we left for Disney. We fly out of Orlando.



If you have any questions please leave them I will answer as many as I can. Also, if you have comments about the video you can leave them on You Tube tube. I get notified if someone leaves a comment.

Living in Sarasota, we go up to St Pete beach often for little mini
vaca's... LUV scoops, nice job finding it.

I'm only on day 3 (day 1 at WDW) but I'm loving it so far!

My DH thinks I've completely lost it! I've got headphones plugged into the computer while he watches Texas Hold 'Em on TV, and I keep laughing out loud...a little too loudly, I guess!

I'm just "next door" to you in Windsor, so it was fun to ride along to Bradley and watch you fly Southwest to Orlando.
It's been almost a year since our last trip, and I'm still tring to convince DH that it's time to start planning the next. (We used to go every year, but we just bought a new house, so Disney vacations are on hold for now.) Maybe I should be trying to convince you to let me tag along! We like the same movies and I'm a coaster junkie, too! TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!

Thanx for the great feedback. I use Magix Pro 11 to edit. It is packed with features for the money. The down side, Magix is based in Germany and their support stinks. I have had some compatabilty issues with the DVD burning side of the program and can't get any help. I burn to DVD using Ulead Disc Creator.

Magix Pro 12 is out so you might get a deal on 11 if you can find it.

I love your vidoe report and enjoyed the sarcasm too . My DD7 and I just watched all 4 videos to get our Disney fix since we have 90 more days. I loved the water slide video! My DD hates when the slides are enclosed but after watching your video I think she will be trying the one at Polynesian. How did you like BCV?

BCV is our favorite and we have stayed there 4 times. This time with having room 463 it was the best. Having a view of illuminations was really cool.

We actually ended up doing a last minute trip to SSR about a month after the trip you are watching the videos on (another reason why it took so long to post this report). We both teared up as we walked by the BC pool on our way to Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We are going to Boardwalk in Sept. But as the time gets closer we wish we were going back to BCV. We booked BW thinking we needed a change
Lesson learned, book with your heart not your head!

I love the Poly too. I did stay at the Poly once but it was back in 2000 so I swam in the old pool. I love the new volcano pool, I am a bit jealous. That new slide looks cool so tell her to make a run down for old Spectro! Kona Cafe` is one of our favorite places to eat so it will be appearing in one of the videos, "stay tuned".

Pumba's Mom has me building cabinets for her scrap booking room but I did start day 5 today. I probably won't get much done until Monday.
