Video Trip Report- April 27-May 4

Amazing, wonderful, bravo.

I got so excited when I saw you were going to Maya Grill, cause I've been thinking about it and haven't seen many reviews. Then bam! You turned the camera off:guilty:

I understand why, but can you tell me a little about it? Please?:flower3:

Great report, love the videos!

BTW, LexMelinda sent me......... see, word is getting around.

Love this way of doing a TR!!!! I am giving it serious thought for my next trip in August!!! I, too, am not too good with the typing as my brain goes faster than my fingers and the spelling is none too good!!!
I am interested in the Cape May Cafe that you had dinner at. What else was on the buffet besides the clams? I don't care for them but my DS and DDIL love them so that is why I picked here.
Again, Great Job!!!!! Am looking forward to the rest of your TROV. (trip report on video!):rotfl:

You were mentioned in a new thread on the theme park strategies board titled "best trip reports" so I would expect you'll be getting a ridiculous amount of hits very soon.

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to put this together. I am genuinely loving watching the videos! Can't wait for more!

Sandy :)

DH and I stayed at BCV in May in studio 431 and believe it or not our balcony was bigger. We were on the corner of the building where it slants back. We had an 8 foot section of the regular width balcony and then it broadened out for another 20 feet in length with the width of about 11 feet. You could have had a small party out there with limited dancing.

We will also be returning to BCV in Sept. (of course we are requesting room 431). We will be there 9-20 through 9-25. Perhaps we will see you then.

We have been to Maya twice in the last 3 trips and will be returning in Oct. The menu is simple and delicious. This restaurant is off the beaten path but can get crowded when a large convention is there and dinner is not part of the evenings activities.
We make ADR for around 5:00 when the restaurant opens as this local can be quite relaxing if it is mostly empty. The service is what we like most about it. We have always had great service and that is the main reason we return.

hope you enjoy it!

i'm loving your videos!!! i'm sure those take so much time to do...so thank you!

i'm heading over to my weight loss thread to pimp out your TR....hope you don't mind. so you should be getting more hits in the next few days. it deserves to be seen!!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the boost! Congrats on your 20 pounds. Kim has lost a lot of weight since Sept. so I know how hard you have worked. If you go to my youtube page (chr3000) you will see some videos from our Sept. Cruise. You can see the difference from then till now.

Chris....I love it!!! What a great way to do a trip report!

I love the songs and sound clips you use. Is video editing your profession? Although I have to think this is not the cheater's way out as it certainly must take longer to do your installments this way.

Don't be discouraged. I predict you'll have huge numbers of people on board once the word gets out about how great your report is. (Punkin sent me! :thumbsup2)

No, video is not my profession.
I am glad you like the music. The truth is editing takes the least amount of time in most cases. Importing the videos takes the most time and music selection is second. I take great care in selecting the right music for the scene. Tempo, type, complexity, length of intro, are some of the things I consider when choosing the clip. I often have to listen to several clips before selecting the right one. In some cases I can't find a sound that will fit so I will record my own using my Yamaha Tyros 2 keyboard. The jazz version of Some Day My Prince Will Come on day 3 pt2 is me on the Tyros 2. One Little Spark on day 4 is also the Tyros. For day 5 we went to Typhoon Lagoon. I have a cd of steel drum Disney music but unfortunately most of the songs don't sound festive and island like even though they are played on a steel drum. The Micky Mouse March and a samba version of Stay Awake from Marry Poppins is me on the Tyros 2. It is an amazing instrument. The link at the bottom is a demo of the keyboard and what it can do. Check it out. It is a bit dry but the keyboard is mind blowing:scared1:

:thumbsup2 Chris, you did an AWESOME job on this! I really enjoyed watching. I liked seeing Turtle Talk with Crush since I missed it last year. I can't wait to see more! popcorn:: Thanks! Anne

Dude, Turtle Talk totally rocks! To miss it again would be, like, totally bogus. Make sure you check it out next time it is awesome. :thumbsup2

Bob hates seafood and found plenty of food to eat and felt he got his moneys worth.

Just watched them all, they were great! I can hardly wait for my trip in 47 days! Kim is great! I love her laugh and both of you have a great sense of humor. You seem to have a great time together!

Yet another great video! I loved the wave pool at TL! And I had no idea that there was a free side and a pay side of snorkeling. I'll keep checking back for more.:thumbsup2

Loved it, Chris!

What did you really think of Typhoon Lagoon? Worth a trip? Did you ride Crush n' Gusher?

Don't you love Kona? I've booked it twice for our September trip.

My daughter just watched the last episode with me and now she is going back to watch them all!
