Video Recording on Disney Rides

I can't remember for sure, but I think that the announcements during COP ask you NOT to videotape.

Yes and there are few others. Off the top of my head the list includes Ellen's UOE, Monster laugh floor and other movie based attractions like Bugs Life.

I bought a GoPro a few months back to record my dirtbike races. However, after getting the thing, I have found myself recording friggin' everything! It is just an awesome camera.

Anyways, we are going to Disney next month, and I will be filming some stuff there for sure! The GoPro as a very wide lens, and I bet the MK panorama will look super cool from Astro Orbiter, Dumbo, and the like.

But how about Splash Mounain and Big Thunder? Do those rides allow cameras? I can see how how they could be a potential danger in the wrong (clumsy) hands on those rides, and Disney not allowing it.

No one will say anything unless there is a specific prohibition on video taping. As for Splash and BTMR, how do you think all those youtube videos were taken.

If you want something that looks good get or fashion a chest mount for your go pro. You could even wear it and do some time lapse as you go from ride to ride.

No camera warnings on either ride! :thumbsup2
