Video/digital camera on water rides?

What do you guys recommend doing with your video or digital camera when you go on water rides? Those are 2 things I don't want to leave on the stroller for fear they might be taken. Will they stay dry if you put it in a couple plastic bags and then in a knapsack? What have you done in the past? Thanks in advance!

On most rides putting it in a plastic bag (huge zip lock works) should be fine.

We carry our mini-dv cam, digi-cams, suncsreen, batteries, cell phone, a towel (a must), plus snacks, etc.. I almost ruined my wife's cell phone last year but after leaving it plugged in for a few days it started to work again!

I have a very small DV camera JVC GR-DVP9 not much bigger than a pack of 100's cigarettes. I put it in a small plastic zip-loc bag inside a pretty water resistant Lowepro case that fits on my belt loop. I have been to Disney twice with it and have had no problems on any ride.

As long as you take precautions you should be all right. Watch out for sudden downpours though, I intend to carry my digicamera and camcorder around in waterproof bags unless I am actually using them. I wouldn't rely on a normal camera bag to keep the rain out. Last summer my digicamera broke because water got through the zipper so now I carry everything electronic in waterproof bags.
