Victory Is Mine!!!!

Woo! Hoo!!!!
I may not have won the WAR, but this weekend's battle victory went to ME! Went to Grandma's and actually lost weight!!!!! All this right when BF is trying his darnedest to come between me and my favorite pair of blue jeans! I am soooo happy! Not ready for a new clippie yet, but studying my enemy, and plan to have a summer full of weekends like this one past!
Now for the bad news: I leave for Vegas on Friday. I'm hoping I can do enough walking (and sweating: Ave temps there are 103 F!) to keep any indescretions at bay. I plan to explore my weaknesses there as well. Hopefully I will have a victory to report when I return.

I'm off now to get ready for a night out with the guys! DH and his co-workers are getting together for some manly fun at the ballpark. SO's are welcome, but he said we'd probably be sitting according to gender! So that means I have to get my hair fixed, face on and toes polished. I'm not very good with the ladies. I tend to be a bit loud and drink lots of beer, (since it's $1 night Oh, sometimes a burp or two sneaks out, too. I'm sure I'll make lots of new friends. NOT!) Anyway, WISH me luck with the beer and hot dogs. CRAP. It's whats for dinner.

I know you will have a great time! All the walking will pay off, trust me! We ate until the cows came home (so it seemed) when we were away, but we walked everywhere and came home with what I suspect was water retention weight. You just go have a fab time!!!! you can definately get alot of walking in there - just get up early before the heat and crowds are at full force! how about a swim in the hotel pool??

congrats on keeping on living (grandmas, ballgames, vegas, etc) and maintaining such a great attitude! this is for life after all! we've gotta keep having fun and enjoying it
