Should we even bother? Will the lines be ridiculously long?

We will either cross into Watertown or Buffalo, just overnight for some shopping. We have our own business and NEVER get a day off, so we thought we'd take advantage of the holiday here - but not in the U.S.

I know, I know....I'm asking a silly question right?

Crossing shouldn't be too bad Saturday evening. Probably will be busy Monday afternoon to early evening.
Traffic heading into T.O. from east or west will be busy.
Are you planning on shopping in Watertown/Syracuse or Buffalo?
Judging by where you plan to cross I'm going to say you live east of the GTA.

if you cross on a weekend - be prepared to wait. We actually crossed from Michigan to Sarnia on a Wed evening in March coming home from the Detroit airport and had a 50 minute wait. Go pee, eat and be prepared.

Yes, we live east of the GTA and I haven't decided yet whether I want to go to Watertown and Syracuse or to Buffalo. DH has never been to Walden Galleria, so I'd like to go there, but that gives us a much longer drive.

Yes....always pee and eat first...LOL....good advice!
