Hi Everyone,

We're going on our honeymoon in December and I was curious about Victoria and Alberts.

Does anyone know what the prices are like and is it worth it? We have ressies at O'hanas, 1900 Park Fare, Poly Luau and lunch only at Cindy's Royal Table ( couldn't get breakfast :( ) so far...

But we keep hearing lots of great reviews on V&A...should we go?

Thanks for all your help everyone!

Victoria and Alberts is a very nice, elegant evening meal. It runs about $100/person, give or take, and depending on your beverage or wine preferences. It is a great, dress up meal. We did this for our first anniversary and really enjoyed it. Some day we'll make it back again, but probably not in the next year or two. We have also had very nice, not quite as elegant but outstanding meals at California Grill and Artist Point. And I LOVE Cindy's for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is just a little chaotic for my taste, but I love the castle atmosphere.

Here's a link to some info from Deb Will's site:
http://wdwig.com/menu/menu_va.htm

The meal is prix fixe at $85.00 per person (without wine pairings). Add wine pairings for another $42.00/person. (Wine pairing per course)

The menu does change from day to day, but this will give you an idea of the general menu. It is not your average Disney fare -- it's definitely several steps up. It would be a wonderful meal for a honeymoon.

Thanks for all the info!!!! Then it should be nice! Would we need PS?

You absolutely need a PS and you will be asked to reconfirm it the day before. My husband and I ate at the Chef's table where there is one seating per night at a table area set up in the back of the kitchen. It was very nice.

Part of the reason for the PS confirmation is because they personalize your keepsake menu. Very special.

Hey everyone,

Just made PS @ V&A's...YAY!!! I made it for our last night in WDW, so we can really appreciate it! It was $85 p/p, we're not wine drinkers, so we skipped that...I'm SO excited now! Thanks everyone! :teeth:

Great!! Hope you like it. They do have "full bar" service at V&A and I've seen a few folks just order Iced tea/Coffee.

When you made your PS, did you mention that you were on your honeymoon? We just celebrated a birthday there and were given a delicious chocolate card. They may have something special for honeymooners. Congraluations on your upcoming wedding!

Hi again Everyone!

THANKS Aunties! When I made the PS, I did tell them we will be on our honeymoon...with all the other PS's we told them the same also, so it should be nice. All the fellow Dis'ers advised that we told everyone it's our honeymoon ( *THANKS EVERYONE*), so hopefully, it'll be special....A chocolate card?! MMMM....what a wonderful thought! YUMMY!!!!! ;)

Let me just add that this will be, without a doubt, your best dining experience at WDW, and definitely one of the most memorable times of your honeymoon there.

WDW has many great restaurants. This one is the BEST, and the MOST ROMANTIC, by far!

We'll be there on Dec. 6th, so we can't wish you congratulations in person, so I'll do it now.

Best wishes!!!

PS: The chocolate souffle makes for a really good dessert.

Hi KFischer,

THANKS!!!:teeth:

Too bad we won't be there at the same time to enjoy V&A's, but thanks again and ENJOY ur visit!!!!! ;)

We're really looking forward to it! I heard they personalize your menu or something like that...can't wait! Enjoy! :p

And you get to take them home.

There's one other surprise for the female at the end of dinner.
The guy gets a surprise, too.
It's called the bill. (YIKES!)

Worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!
