Hi! I was looking for feedback on the Chef's table. IS it worth it? We would do the wine with it. I am looking for something special for my mom's 62nd birthday.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!

sorry, I can't answer it but I'd love to see the answer. We are booked there September 24th. I can hardly wait. Thought about trying the chef's table but hubby could care less unless they show him how to cook it.

My husband and I did the Chef's table in May of 2006. I called EXACTLY 180 days out, at like, 6 in the morning my time. I was soooo determined to get it. My husband and I are major foodies, and I was so excited to try the chef's table!

Let me tell you... this was the BEST thing we did on the whole vacation, and this was the vacation of a lifetime! We ate at the best places, stayed at the best resort, relaxed, had an amazing 2 weeks! But the chef's table was our FAVORITE thing.

First of all, super staff! My husband forgot his dinner jacket, and they had one for him. The harpist in the front played "our song" at my request, and we were escorted to the kitchen where an amazing little table waited for us. The food... was to DIE FOR. The Kobe beef short ribs? They made me want to cry. Actually, right now I am staring at a PBJ sandwich, and I feel like crying again.

We did not do the wine pairing.. neither of us drink... but for that once in a lifetime experience, you HAVE to try this. They give you personalized menus, cater to your every whim, and are very friendly!! We didn't feel like it was "stuffy" at all, just extremely personal and fabulous.

DO IT!
