Hey guys and gals,

I've done a search, but couldn't find anything, so here goes:

My fiancee and I are having a Disney wedding in December of this year. Our ceremony will be at 1:00pm and we are planning a dinner at V&A sometime afterward. Does anyone know when V&A starts serving dinner? Do they even have lunch/dinner times? We would like to get in earlier so we can make it back to the parks for fireworks.

Thanks for the help!

Lurieh

v&a opens for dinner at 6:00. this is a very elegant and relaxed dining experience. i would suggest planning fireworks for another evening. and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!:p

We spent our 1st anniversary there and it was wonderful, but a very long meal. We were seated at 6:00 and left at 8:30. Depending on the park hours it may be easier to watch fireworks from down on the beach rather than trying to get inot a park that night.

V&A has 2 seatings--one at 6:00 to 6:45 and another starting at 9:00. The meal lasts about 2 hours--sometimes as long as 2 1/2 hours.
Since you will be "dressed up" at V&A, going to the MK in a coat and tie and a dress might not be terribly comfortable. So I agree with Disney Queen and/or ahutton--either plan fireworks watching for another nite, or just walk down to the beach (or perhaps the deck at Narcoosee's) to view the fireworks.

We had the second seating 9:30 in December and we were the last one's out around 1:00 am

I wouldn't go into the parks either. You can see the MK fireworks very well from the outdoor seating by Gasparilla and from the boat dock at GF.

Thanks for the info folks!

So do they only seat four times during the night? If I understand it correctly they seat at 6:00, 6:45, 9:00, and 9:30, correct?

We were hoping dinner would start earlier to catch the fireworks, but I think we'd rather have a nice relaxing dinner and skip hiting the parks afterward.

Thanks again for the input.

Well, I thought they only have 2 seatings. One at 6:00 and one at 9:15 or 9:30. I'm sure someone will know for sure....probably Uncle R!

Ok, I think I read the previous post wrong. They have a seating 6:00-6:45, and a second seating at 9:00-?. Is that correct?

I believe the first "seating" is from 6:00 thru 6:45--over the years we've been seated at 6:00, 6:15 and 6:30. When you make the reservation, they'll tell you which times are available. 6:00 is the earliest avilable "time".
Similar system for the 9:00 thru 9:45 seatings. Tho we've never eaten that late, since we wouldn't get out much before midnite.

When I made my V&A's ressies for March, I was offered a 5:45 time slot as well.

I had DU book a PS for my family in May. We're going to La Nouba first so needed a later seating. They obtained one for 9:10.

We had a 5:45 PM seating in December. We were in there for a good 3 hours with the wine pairings. Take your time it's fantastic.

Interesting about the 5:45 seating. Never had it offered the 20 times we've been --and I usually make ressies at the very first window of opportunity.
