Victoria and Albert payment

I know the title doesn't make a lot of sense -but I couldn't think of anything better. Anyway, here is the situation. I am surpirsing my parents with dinner at Victoria and Alberts next week on our trip. When I made the reservation ,I used my credit card to reserve their spots - so will they charge my card on the night of the dinner or expect payment from my parents? Just needing to know if I have to go out and get a gift card for them to use to pay the bill that night... ( and what a bill.whoa) TIA

You pay after the meal. The card number you gave at booking was just to hold the reservation. It'd probably be best to get them a gift card.

A few years ago you could pay by calling in a cc #. We did it at Flying Fish for my parents' anniversary. We tried again a year or two ago at a different WDW restaurant for a friend, had a really hard time and couldn't get it done in the end.

I like the gift card idea.
