I don't think that reservations for the main dining room are that hard to get, but concierge books ours so I can't be sure. Judging by the empty seats (at least when we are there), I think it's easy to get ressies, but difficult for the Chef's Table (180 days out). I think the only difference with the reservation is that you must call to confirm 24 hours ahead (which concierge will do for you). I don't know if they require a credit card or not. Our dinners (for 2) usually cost about $400, including tip and wine pairings. If we order the more expensive items on the menu (often caviar), the total can be more.
