Has anyone been to this restaurant. My DH & I are thinking about going when we go to Disney World in December. He is a very adventurous eater while I am a bit more picky, but we still want to give it a try. What are your reviews/opinions?

There are several reviews in the Reviews subforum. You can do a search there, or a search in the main forum for the older ones.

I just read in the paper yesterday that they have received the AAA Five Diamond Award again this year, one of only 53 restaurants in the entire country to get that award.

Some of the items may sound a bit wild, or the combinations may seem weird, but the foods are designed so that the tastes blend perfectly.

We ate here a few nights ago and I can honestly say that this was the best meal I have ever had! The ingredients do tend to be a bit exotic but not over the top. If you want to splurge I would also recommend the wine pairings...this was outstanding as well. What was amazing was the consistency course after course....each course was wonderful and there was not a thing that my husband (not usually an adventerous eater) or I didn't think was wonderful. We each ordered a different item for each course (except for dessert...we both had the creme brulee) so we sampled quite a bit. We only get to Disney World every few years or so and this will now go on our "must do" list! Go, go, go to V&A! You will not be dissapointed. If you have any other particular questions, I'll do my best to answer them!

Love V&A. We had dinner with the wine pairings. If you are interested, I can give you the info on our menus (customized with and without seafood--I am allergic). This is a not-to-miss restaurant IMHO!
