How difficult is it to reserve the chef's table at V&A's? I am hoping to dine here during my upcoming trip. Is it as difficult to get as CRT? :bride:

Actually, the V&A chef's table is the hardest reservation to get! You have to call at 7am est. (okay 6:58am!) exactly 180 days in advance of when you want to go. There is only one table and the reservation is gone within the first two minutes!

Most people don't know this, but if you don't get the reservation, you can call the restaurant directly and ask to be put on a waiting list. We were lucky enough to get a chef's table on our last trip, and we were also on a waiting list for a different day. The restaurant called me about three weeks before our trip to say that there was a cancellation and asked if we wanted the table. So, the wait-list does work...

It's extremely difficult to get. We book our annual trip around this dining experience, and have been known to change our dates to accommodate our Chef's Table ressies. This year we were lucky enough to get the reservations on our actual anniversary date. It helps if you are staying concierge, because then you have someone else calling for you to try to reserve it - 2 calls are better than 1 :)
Cheers!

Heather, I am staying at the GF RPC - for my honeymoon. Should I e-mail them before the 180 days? I never contacted the IPO conceirge office that far in advance of my arrival.

Definitely contact them. Just send them your reservation number/dates, so they know you are actually a guest, and they will be happy to make the Chef's Table reservations for you.
Cheers!

It's very, very difficult, as has been attested to in this thread. Most people say that CRT is the toughest ressie to get at WDW...but, in truth, The Chefs Table at V&A's is tougher.

All the suggestions in the above thread are wonderful. Here's hoping you're successful!
