First time posting on this board and I love it!!! Thanks for all of the great reviews and info. I have booked V&A for my husband's 4oth b-day. We are doing the wine pairings as well. Any opions on this? We love food and especially wine. We plan our trip around the Food and Wine Festival each year. Would there be any better rest. for a very special dinner? Anyone try Bluezoo, Narc., Palios? We have done Flying Fish, Spoodles, Citrico, Yachtsman, California Grill.

ALso, what would be best way to get to Whispering Canyon for bfast from BCV. We are not renting a car this time. Is this rest worth it. The kids are 11 and 7 and really do not want any more character meals. I heard that this rest. is fun.

Thanks!!

One of the most memorable of all the Disney restaurants. You are treated like royalty once you step into the restaurant. We had the wine pairings with our meal and that truly made it even more special. You receive the menu as a momento of your time at V&A. I think you will definatly have a grand time.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It is pricey, but well worth every single cent. My husband and I went on our last trip. He was hesitant and we almost cancelled because of the strange foods, but let me tell you, it was the best food I have ever eaten and the service is fantastic. You will feel like the hustle and bustle of the parks has melted away and you are in some sort of fairytale world of kings and queens (well, I guess you kinda are anyway hee hee). We didn't do the wine pairing (not really wine people), but you can't go wrong with anything there. My mouth still waters for the truffled egg that I had with some dish and we were amazed at how fantastic the fish was (my husband is not a fish eater and he ate every last bite-would have licked the plate if it was appropriate!). Do it! You won't regret it.

we love breakfast at WCC!! your children are the perfect age for the fun at the restaurant. the very easiest way to get there would be to take a taxi. and then from WL take the bus to wherever you would like to go. there is a boat that goes to MK. enjoy!

You will love V&A's. DH says a meal there is the best night of the year. Better than Christmas. Don't miss the wine pairings. The sommelier, chef and maitre d' there do some amazing pairings. You will love it. Enjoy!

We went for our honeymoon last year. It was fabulous.

We were just talking about where to dine for our 1st Anniversary and couldn't decide. So, I just planned a surprise trip for Labor Day and made reservations for V&A's. I am SO excited :cheer2:

V&A's is definately worth it. Whispering Canyon for breakfast is good, don't know if I would go out of my way and make a special trip over there or not.
You could always grab a cab from your resort, that would be the quickest and easiest way to get there.

Welcome to the DIS. You've made a perfect choice for a special dinner. The wine pairings are such a great addition to the meal.

We've never dined at WCC but other than a cab I think the fastest way to get there from BCV is to take the bus to the MK and then the bus to WL. The boat would work as well and be more fun but would take a little longer just because the docks are further away.

Definitely go for the wine pairings if you are a wine lover; you will get a chance to try some good quality wines. We love V&A's and eat there for every anniversary, since that's where we had our wedding reception.

Narcoossee's is pretty good, but is not our favorite. For food quality, Citricos is better, in my opinion, but Narcoossees does have that wonderful fireworks view. It is a very loud restaurant, though; the noise level is too high for us to rate it as a romantic dining experience.

Cheers!

 Hi fellow Ohioans!!! When are you going to WDW/V&As? We are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary there in just under 4 weeks!!! We haven't eaten here before but I love to read all the great reviews. It's the thing I think I am most looking forward to on our trip! We are planning to get the wine pairings as well.

Have a great time! I just hit that 40th birthday a couple months ago so I know it can be a big one!

DH and I thought V&A's was one of the best meals we've ever had. The food and service are excellent. I hope you enjoy it.
