Hummm that depends do you gamble? There are three or four casinos there so if you gamble I would say yes. They have re done the downtown area and there are shops and restaurants.
There are also tours of homes that were there during the war. One in particular is Cedar Grove which is haunted There are a few more in that same area.
The Battlefield is a Huge Park. Do you hike? If you do the driving tour its easily done in a day even if you get out to see everything and take a picnic lunch.
They have a mall but its AWFUL.....they do have an outlet shopping center thats okay.
Jackson (the state Cap.) is only about 40 minutes away and there is ample shopping there (Northpark Mall) and also the Resevouir and museums galore.
Wow, I haven't checked these boards in almost a year and here I find something about Vicksburg! I don't think you would need 3-4 days to "see it all" at Vicksburg. Probably just a day and a half would be more than enough. I guess it depends on how much of a battlefield junkie you are. It's a great place with great monuments, parks, a nice visitor's center, though.
