My friend is a diabetic and I'd love to go to V&A's but he doesn't know if he will be able to go with me...

Anyone have a diabetic menu????

I just looked at some of their sample menus on Allears and I don't see what the problem would be for a diabetic. I would just note it when you make the ADR and request to see the chef when you are seated. A chef at that kind of restaurant would definitely know how to accomodate their recipes for special dietary needs. I'm sure they can come up with a healthy dessert as well.

I've never eaten there but it sure sounds nice.

I am diabetic (Type 2) and have eaten there several times without any problems.

However, if you are worried at the time you reconfirm (usually within a week) let the person you talk to know and they will take care of notifying the chef. Of course it would not hurt to let them also know when you arrive.

If you have any real restrictions letting them know a week out will make it easier for them.
