Via Napoli's Take Out Window

So im going to disney in january for a business trip with my school business club. and we have one free day. so me, being a person who knows their way around disney like the back of their hand wants to go to via napoli for lunch on their freeday. i heard that via napoli has a take out window if do any of you know about that info and if so, how much would it be?

My understanding is that the Via Napoli pizza window is only open during peak tourism dates. When we visited in October, we never found the window open. It also should be noted that the pizza sold at the window is not the same as the pizza sold inside the restaurant.

I have seen terrible reviews of the take out pizza. If it was the same as via napoli I would be so on that.

I have seen it open a few times but only when there are large crowds. It is definitely NOT the same pizza as you would get inside the restaurant -it appears to be thick crust Sicilian style rather than the Neapolitan style pizza sold inside - so it's best not to go there expecting it.

Disney operates a separate pizza window serving "Disney" Style pizza that is in the same building as Via Napoli.

i definitely figured it wouldnt be as good as sitting down. if it does open during tourism dates, do you think that it would be open the first week of january?

This! We walked through it as we were leaving Via Napoli in Sept. It was open and fairly busy, but definitely WDW pizza and nothing like I had just eaten at Via Napoli. I didn't realize it was only open part time. It was open when I was there last May, again in Sept, and again when I was there Nov 26th-Dec 4th.

It is one of the very few places I haven't eaten at Epcot and from what I saw I have no desire to eat there. I love Via Napoli though.

I would not expect it to be open in early January, unless you are talking about the days around New Year's. I'm pretty sure it was not open when we were there in early November.

But of course, no way of knowing. If you're committed to going there, bad pizza reviews and all, you should have a back-up World Showcase counter service plan.

Don't waste your time, it is the same "Disney" style pizza you can get all over property and NOT the same pizza that is in Via Napoli. There are much better counter service options in World Showcase with more authentic food, go to one of those instead, or Sunshine Seasons for a better selection.

Agreed. It was open this past Saturday and it's just not good.

We go in late June - peak time .... so I hope it is open. We like pizza - think or thin crust, as long as ut has sauce and cheese.

The pizza at the CS window at Via Napoli is vastly different than what they serve inside Via Napoli. It was ok, but it wasn't nearly as good as they had in the restaurant.
