Via Napoli & La Hacienda de San Angel question...

I know that Via Napoli is currently open but is only taking walk-up diners rather than reservations right now. Could someone share their experience with wait times? We are booked at Via Napoli for our trip, but I was hoping to also dine at La Hacienda in early October. I understand that La Hacienda will only be taking walk ups at that time.

I'm assuming that wait times for the 2 restaurants during their soft openings might be similar. I'm just wondering if I should gamble on La Hacienda and cancel one of my current ADR's, or should I not assume we'll be able to get into La Hacienda due to long wait times? Thanks for any thoughts on the subject!
 
We ate at Via Napoli last Thursday. It was Evening EMH at EPCOT that day. We got there around 7:45 and the wait time for inside tables was 1 hour but if you wanted to be seated on the patio outside, you could get seated immediately (which is what we did).
 
How was the food at Via Napoli??

Expensive ($16 for a 4 slice individual pizza). We got 2 pizzas for three people which was enough. I was a little annoyed at first at the prices, but now I am a fan. I had the white pizza and it was amazing! My mouth is watering right now. I also liked the atmosphere and the wonderful Italian waiter. He told us that they bring in the special flour and tomatoes from Italy and even the minerals to add to the water to make the pizza dough. We only waited 15 minutes at lunchtime a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, reservations are open for Via Napoli for dates starting 10 Sept. Between 2 Aug (the soft-opening date) and 9 Sept though, they are only taking walk-ups (I made my 26 Sept Reservation back on 6 Aug :))

For La Hacienda, it's been posted by Disney that the first reservation date will be 15 October, but they'll be having a soft-opening before then as well. Most of us are figuring that the process with Hacienda will be similar to the Via Napoli one. (Though, demand may be a bit different, since the menu at Hacienda is probably less popular than the new "pizza place")
 
ARAITHEL- Can you explain to me what the White Pizza has on it? It sounds delectable! Also, what type of bread is served at the table?

For anyone who has made ressies, how hard it is to get your preferred times? I am thinking of going in december but wonder how difficult it will be to secure a ressie this late in the game!

Lastly, does anyone know if there are any lunch/dinner differences? Thanks!

Most commonly, especially on the East coast of the United States, the toppings consist only of mozzarella and ricotta cheese drizzled with olive oil and spices like fresh basil and garlic. In Rome, the term pizza bianca refers to a type of bread topped with olive oil, salt and, occasionally, rosemary sprigs. It is also a Roman style to bottom the white pizza with figs, the result being known as pizza e fichi (pizza with figs)

Looking forward to testing the "white Pizza" in less then 30 days!
 
Oh, and ressie was no problem 2 weeks ago when i found out about this new flavor. We'll be there the week of the 19th-24th of September. When I did the search then, I could pick anytime I wanted for that week.
