I know this was a problem for me last time we went and its reared its ugly head again! Does anyone else still have problems pre-booking their seats on VA flights if they booked with VA-I've waited for the 330 day mark and I still can't get in AAAAAGGGGHHH!

wew, that feels better.;) Is it just me or do they need to sort out their computer systems?

If you would rather not phone, there is another way to do it yourself.

When you get to the VA website, put in your VH reference e.g. 12345/S11 If it hasn't changed, you are working near the top left of the screen for adding this info.

It will tell you it can't find your booking. If you scroll down very slightly and look in the centre of the page, there is place to add additional information like your surname, date of departure, flight no. etc. Once you add all this it should pull up your booking. I did this last year and it took me a while to figure out why it wouldn't let me in at first as it doesn't prompt you to add the additional info and the boxes aren't even in the same place as where you start entering info.

WHen you get to your reservation at the top of the page will be a letter/number reference which is your flight locator no. Use this no from then on to access the booking quickly.

No, been trying that all along:confused3 It doesn't recognise anything about me. :headache:
If it wasn't for the confirmation from VH I would wonder if the darn thing was even booked!

Hi

As someone mentioned earlier give VH's a ring and get the flight booking number from them and then go on the VA website to get those seats booked.

This is exactly what we needed to do a few weeks ago.

Just to say it is 330 days from your return date you can access your booking. Also with the bank holidays it may have delayed the transfer of info from VH to VA.

Just worked out from your ticker 330 days is your departure date. Isn't it still 330 days from your return date? haven't booked a package for a few years so not something I wait for.

330 days fromyour return date-well that explains a lot! :headache:
Bu thats not fair! If I am going for 13 days and someone else is only going for 7 on the same day as me, they might pinch the seats I want!! :scared1:

Oh dear, and I sent Virgin a snotty email too. Guess we're sitting in the loo all the way... (Actually I'm a very nervous flyer, that would be OK, save my little legs!!;))
