VGF price increase to 230 on 9/12!

If you're debating whether or not to buy VGF it looks like they're bumping up the price pp on 9/12 to match VDH's cost of 230 pp. Not sure how heavy the next round of incentives will be to offset the increase but would at least recommend locking in the current price and then cancelling down the line if you're thinking about it but unsure!

Also, does anybody know if Riviera's price per point will increase at the same time?

Actually the sales numbers for VGF, I am not surprised by this. If they are not doing it for RIV, then my guess is we may see better incentives for that resort.

So, those that are waiting, get into a contract within 10 days..just to lock it in if you want!

They're probably very close, I know people were predicting it to sell out by early 2024 so we're not too far off

Oh wow, that is good to know! We just got a contract last night but have not signed yet. I was going to reach out to our guide just to let her know that we wanted to wait a few days to see what the 9/12 promo is. We got a 200pt VGF contract.

Lol they must be pushing the same info to all the guides. Just got an e-mail from my guide this morning about a price increasing and the resort close to selling out. We were planning on adding on anyway but we wanted to be closer to the 10-day period in case the fall incentives were better.

Did the email mention RIV? If not, then I think we may see some nice incentives there….which may not be good for my bank account.

Question here - I have a contract that I got last night but have not signed. I am emailing my guide to let her know that we were going to hold off a few days to watch for the 9/12 sales within our 10 day window. As long as she's good with that, I am still "in" on DVC despite me not signing the contract yet?

Yes, you should be fine…but they are raising the price of VGF by $13/point on the 12th…the deals are not going to be better than what you have locked in!

I just got the email from DVC…based on that, I would not expect RIV or AUL to have their base price increased right now.

The email does not mention RIV. It has a timer of when the incentives end, a little blurb about ABD and tron and then the VGF price increase tucked at the bottom.

I'm hoping as well for some nice incentives on RIV. I'm looking to pick up another 150 and then in a couple years 300 at Poly 2 and I'm golden. Maybe a teensy BCV or something to push me over 1,000 but RIV and Poly and then that's it.

Ha I like how its tucked in at the bottom! Thanks for the heads up. My guide is OOO so I didnt get an info. We have a contract that I got last night but have not signed. This news is definitely making me feel more confident in our decision to take advantage of the current promos.

I figured they’d raise the price eventually but I thought it would be closer to the Poly Tower sales going live. Apparently they’re selling well. Glad I bought my points already.
