Regarding VGF, is it about equidistant from both Gasparilla Grille at the GF and Captain Cooks at the Polynesian? Or is there a significant difference in the distance to one vs the other?

I was making use of the jogging trail on my most recent stay, i'd say the walk from the villas at GF are at least 10 mins to the center of the poly (haven't stayed, dont know if CC is in the main building or by the pools). The walk from the villas to gasparilla is 5 mins or so, most people seemed to be mobile ordering and hitting 'ready' from their rooms and picking up by the time they got there.

Depends how you define significant i guess, but I'll admit the slimmed down menu at GG got boring by day 3 so an "adventure" might be worthwhile.

It's about 500' longer to Capt. Cooks by google maps, so not significantly. Make sure you look at the menu's because they have very different types of food, but both are good. Gasaparilla has a little more variety.

When I stay at VGF, I use both and haven’t found it too different to go to Poly.

I love the mobile order as we did that one night for Captain Cooks! It is nice having such options!

It's longer to Capt Cooks. I'd probably put it at double but it's not like either are a long distance so double is relative.
