VGC Founding Member Gift?

Does anyone have a status on the VGC Founding Member gift? My understanding is that it's going to be a framed resort lithograph, but that could change given the changes we saw with AKV...

I'm sure anything will be beautiful, but I'm hoping it won't be the 'artist's rendering' that's been used in all the promotional materials. It doesn't look at all like the actual DVC building since they revamped the architectural plans to better fit in with PP...

Would love any scoop you can get at the opening day ceremonies!

Do you have to be part of the opening day festivities or is it for all founding members?

When we were at GC in August they had a promo get a free lithograph if you took the DVC tour being touted in the room. I meant to call my guide and ask if I could have a lithograph but never got around to it.

I like my VWL print. We weren't founders but we got one when we purchased in 2007. Didn't get anything for our AKV or VGC though.

Oh well, I didn't really buy for the print but it would be nice.

We bought our add-on on the first possible day and have yet to see our Founding Member Gift....

Interesting that the Members attending the events in the Grand Villa this weekend get a little shovel ornament that says 'Founding Member' on it (relayed by a fellow DISer)... I'm not sure how to feel about that. In the grand scheme of things it's obviously not a big deal, but really only FMs should get FM goodies...

I would love a Grand Opening Pin though, but I guess I shouldn't get one since I'm not there

Well. . . it's good to know that we are not alone. We've about reached the point that we are out of energy from kicking ourselves.
