VGC and WOC

It is being reported that Disney is going to work up to 3 shows a night for WOC starting in June. I have read reports of people that have been in their VGC villas when some of the tests of WOC have been going off and they say it is kind of loud. I am wondering if maybe a Paradise Pier location may not be the best anymore.

I guess it depends on your personal preferences and if noise bothers you. I'd still want it for the view and possible chance to watch from our balcony.

I was thinking that once a night for the noise would be o.k., but three times might get old, and I thought I saw that the last show would be fairly late, 11:00 or so, is what I thought I saw.

I do think during the summer there will be 3 shows with one very late around 11:30 PM so yes it could be alot of noise.

We were there last week and could only faintly hear the music with the doors closed. The only part that could be a bit loud is when the cannons and fire go off during the pirates portion. We were so beat by 11pm that I don't think it will be much of an issue...

We've stayed many times at hotels along Harbor where we hear the fireworks. They're LOUD!!!! But we love it! It's just another one of those things that reminds me I'm at Disneyland. And if we're near a view, we pop out of our room (or look out our window if our room has a view) and watch.

Many times we're too tired to hear anything though. (Where's that snoozing icon?)

Three shows starting June 11, plus DCA will be open until 11:00 PM. It will close early the following week on Wed. and Thur. due to grad night. Expect some noise, so if you have young kids that go to bed before 10, consider a pool view level 3-5 and watch the fireworks at 9:20 from your room with the music from your TV.
