Hi all,

I'm looking at going back to Disney for MVMCP this year and am between Nov 10-12 (which happens to be veterans day weekend), the weekend after (Nov 17-19), or Dec 1-3.

If I go in December it looks like better crowds, but food and wine is over (which is a big draw for us) - but hotel prices are lower. Do folks have any experience with these times and have a recommendation?

Thanks!

I would definitely choose the Dec dates. You might not have F&W at that time, but they'll still have food and drink options during the Festival of the Holidays instead (starting 11/25). There will be booths with many different options for you to sample - maybe not as many as F&W, but you'll get to enjoy them looking at holiday decorations! F&W leads right into FOH which leads into Arts which leads into F&G - almost always a festival with great food/drink options now at EPCOT! The Nov dates might be tough - you have Veteran's Day weekend, I think Jersey week is that week (which truly does seem to have an impact on crowds), and then the following weekend (17-19) would be the beginning of the crowds coming in for the 7-10 days of Thanksgiving (which is 11/23). Good luck with your choice and enjoy the trip!

Thanks - this is helpful! between Veterans Day weekend and Nov 17-19th, which do you think is less bad?

Nov 17-19 almost certainly will be less crowded.

As pp mentioned, Vet Day is Jersey week.
Plus Fri Nov 10 the Fed holiday for Veteran’s Day which is likely to increase attendance that weekend.
