DH got laid off and we have to stop our DVC from going thru-still in the process of underwriting and down payment...i guess it's better than it happening after we were all set...he already has a few interviews set up so i hope he gets a job soon.....guess we'll put DVC off for a few more months!

So sorry! My biggest fear is one of us being laid off. We were within 2 weeks of the plant closing date last year when DH was told he would keep his job. No one knows these days, though.

Im sorry to hear about your dh layoff.... sending pixie dust for that interview, so you keep the process going on you dvc.

just make sure you call your guide right away, once everything is written in stone sort of speaking, the 14 day grace period, you will be proud owners of dvc .

I'm so sorry!! BTDT -- we had to cancel our initial DVC purchase for the same reason. We had a happy ending -- were able to buy at VWL a year later (which actually suited our family better than the BWV we were going to buy) and I wish the same for you!!!

Every time I've added on I've been laid off. Now it's almost a joke.
