We're headed back to The World in Nov. of this year with my 7yo, 4yo, and the baby who will be 15 months when we travel. My question is about the 4yo. She just turned four last month but she is 42.5 inches tall (mostly torso) and weighs around 47 pounds. I have a city mini double here at home and she only barely fits in it by height; her head is only clear when the canopy is open. We're flying down so I plan to rent a stroller for the 4yo and the baby but I'm wondering if a city mini GT wi be tall enough? Would I be better off renting a BOB duallie?

I rented the double citi mini gt for my then 2 month old and 7 year old. She was right at 48 inches for that trip and around 45 lbs. and she fit fine (she has a longer torso as well). I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that the height "limit" for the gt was 48 inches, because I remember knowing that she was really close to it. I think renting the citi mini gt would be just fine. Even if the canopy always has to be open, I'm sure they'll enjoy the shade. I'm pretty sure we always had the canopy open when we used it.

We rented the GT back in October. My son was around 46 inches and 45 pounds and he fit. His head was pretty close to the canopy when closing it but it didn't bother him and he even fell asleep in it twice.

We rent a city mini for DD6 who was 44" and 45lbs. She fit just fine, and she's got my long torso too. she didn't ride all the time, we got it for when she did need it, like wlking between lands and back to the hotel at night.

We own both a City Mini single and a City Mini GT double. My 5 yo fits better in the GT. She's around 48 in and can sit comfortably with the canopy opened or closed. She even likes to recline and curl up in the stroller. Funny, flexible kids!

My older son is 6 yrs old and 48 inches and we still take our citi mini GT double to WDW, and he fits ok in it. He doesn't need it all of the time, but it's nice when he's tired or when we want to get somewhere fast
