Lyn - So sorry to hear about your mom.. We lost my dad to Parkinson's 10 years ago this summer, I still remember clearly how this awful disease steals away the one you love. As much as I hated to say goodbye to my dad, I was so happy he was done with that hold on his body and life...

I am so sorry for your loss. My dear mama passed away 18 months ago. I miss her every day but it gets easier than the heatbreak at first. Lyn, so sorry about the loss of your mother. Both my parents are still alive but elderly and have multiple health problems...my biggest fear is to receive the same call you did from your brother. I am so sorry for your loss Lynn and for the pain you and your family are going through. My Mom is 76 years old and has MS. It may be odd to say but I'm scared every day of when the time comes and she isn't here with us anymore. I am so very sorry for your loss. As I get older, and more of my peers and family are losing their parents, I seem to be saying this phrase so much more often. I wish I could say something that really conveys how truly sorry I am. My mother is in livery failure from an autoimune disease, and I know folks will be saying it to me one day in the not too distant future. I wish that I could put my arms around you, hold you, and show you that, even though I don't know you, I'm sorry for what your family has gone though during your mother's diagnosis, her progressive illness, and her death. It's hard for the patient, it's painful for the family, and my heart is with you.
