I just found a park hopper from 1992. I know it is still good for 2 days but it says "for all three parks" on it. Will this limit my access to AK? Also, can I apply the remainder of this park hopper and another one I got in November toward an PAP? I've been lugging this thing around for 12 years, I hope I get to use it. :earseek:

You can't combine two hoppers to one new one. It may only be done as a one for one exchange.

Your park hopper for the three parks will be good for all four parks. Originally (right after MGM and then AK opened), your pass was limited. Now, you can go to guest services and get a new park hopper, but it will have the two days remaining, just like now.

My parents just did this in August, with some old hopper passes (In fact, they even have Disneyland E-tickets lying around!)

You can also apply the cost towards a new annual pass, however this may not be your most cost effective option. They take the price you paid in 1992, divide it by the original number of days, giving you the per day cost. They then take the per day cost of the remaining days and apply it dollar for dollar to the new annual. Since the cost has changed since 1992 you will not get the full 2 days worth of credit at todays prices - you get the 1992 price. Hopefully that makes some sense?

If you don't mind lugging it around longer, it will be worth two full days for a future visit long after your Premium Annual Pass purchased separately expires. Applied towards a PAP it has relatively little value, you can ask the ticket booth agent what its remaining dollar value is.

You may change your 1992 hopper into todays equivalent which will allow you entrance into AK. You will need to take your hopper to Guest Relations (Guest Services is only at resorts and Water parks, and they don't have the capability to do this) to have it done. As for applying the amount toward an AP, you wouldn't get very much toward it, not even what a day at todays rates would be, as explained above. Your hopper is worth more as is, once it is turned to a ticket used today. Also, as stated above... you may only apply one ticket to one AP.
