Sorry for the long description, but it puts things in perspective and I hope you find it entertaining.
On my recent trip, my DD2 was crying during the 12:40 Aladdin show, so I took her out. My plan was to take her back to our room, but she immediately fell asleep in her stroller. So I went to Award Weiners and got a beer. I couldn't find a bench in the shade, so I just sat on the sidewalk, leaning up against the Animation Academy, and enjoyed my beer while my DD slept, and while I waited for my DW and DD5.
Across the street was the locomotive from The Lone Ranger, near me was Jake the Neverland Pirate, and passing was the red car trolley with Mickey Mouse. While I wanted to see Aladdin, I have no regrets, this ended up being one of the highlights of my trip (actually this was my first Disney beer). I even asked a CM to take my picture.
So my question. I felt out of place sitting on the ground drinking a beer. I was tempted to make a joke of it and ask for change. I didn't, as I feared getting kicked out of the park. But does anyone know if DLR has a policy on panhandling?
Thanks for reading.
