Have a blast!!! Travel safe!!! Tell Mickey Madi will be ready to meet him Sunday!!!

Welcome back. Hope you had a magical time

Thank you! I had a great time and exhausted with total of 7 park days, plus a couple of non-park days. I hope to pull together my pics and start posting a trip report soon.

I tweeted all the way through, so if you want to check out the link above, you can get an idea of the trip. I also posted a few photos as well. :goodvibes

I also can't wait to start reading up on my fellow trip takers! :wizard:

Ok, I forgot to mention that I have a total of:

Pics: 2,431
Photopass: 113

Total: 2,544

Vids: lots!

Memories: uncountable!

Be prepared, my peoples!

I'm going to have to find another online service to accomodate all my pic, yet still allow me to post individual pics.

Can't wait to hear about it. I'm not a tweeter! :lmao:

You don't have to tweet; the website lists all my tweets I made. You don't have to join, just visit if you want.

Glad you are back safely!

Thank you! :goodvibes

I was hoping to start uploading pics tonight, but the nephew guilt-tripped me into going to see his basketball pratice tonight. I have plans for saturday too, but I made have them canceled due to an impending snowstorm.

ohhhhhh I have SOOOOO much catching up to doooooooo!

Not so much; all the trips I was following haven't updated yet either. ;)

Thankfully, I did download all my pictures onto my laptop, just have to start actual writing. :goodvibes

I need to find another photosharing service that does what Photobucket does. Does Flickr do indivual posting?

I will be doing my TR after Christmas! Sorry for the delay!

Hello, my peoples!

My TR got re-opened and that is all I care about. :goodvibes

I am planning to update with Day 1 as soon as I can; I've been waiting for day & a half for this thing to re-open but my internet connection at home is very dicey. Either my cable co sucks or my router/modem is close to being fried. I switched to wireless for tonight & hopefully it stays until I can get a new modem/router.

Keep an eye here!!! :magnify: :cheer2:

I'm *finally* going to start the Trip Report with the day before. I want to say that this trip was amazing :wizard: and I loved every moment of it. It's such a joy to be reliving it with all of you! Thank you! :goodvibes

In this TR, I'm going to include my tweets in black, include monies spent and try to give times as I go along.

The day before was just these tweets:

For the Disney peeps: online check-in for POR was super-easy! Even got a $100 credit since I finally broke down and got their credit card.
11:03 AM Dec 3rd

at salon gettin' pretty for trip, then running like a chicken w/o my head for rest of night.
5:49 PM Dec 3rd

So all the night before, I was doing all kinds of last minute stuff, packing, computer stuff and trying to calm my excited self down. I finally get my tired backside to bed at 1:45am for my car service pick-up at 5:45am.

Disney Day has arrived! :yay:

I went to bed at 1:45am! I was up at 4:45am, finished final packing and last minute stuff for my car service at 5:45am.

Tweet:
holy buckets, it's early! off to the airport & car service taking me on a scenic tour! lol
5:54 AM Dec 4th

After my somewhat of a scenic tour, got to airport, did bagdrop since I signed in online. No lines! Did kiosk, got myself a new boarding pass since gate changed, drop bag in a matter of minutes. Go upstairs for security and just as a I get there, a new line opens! I go through quickly and off I go to the Gate.

Tweet:
did bag drop & thru security! all in 20 minutes...go @EWR & @TSABlogTeam!! don't let me down @continental!
6:38 AM Dec 4th

It was probably more like 25-30 minutes, but it seemed like 20! Stopped at couple of bookstores, bought one at 6:46am for $7.48. Stopped at Nathan’s for breakfast & coffee at 6:50am for $6.40.

After finished eating (didn’t finish sandwhich) & restroom run, I decided to check out the gate and discovered they were boarding the flight! So, it was 7:10am and I was on my flight that is scheduled to leave at 7:55am.

Tweets:
did a breakfast & restroom run. already boarded flight 50 minutes early at 7:10am! wow @continental! can i hope 4 @staralerts blessing?
7:21 AM Dec 4th

3.5 hrs until I land in lovely Orlando & get my Disney on!!
7:26 AM Dec 4th

It was a very busy flight & bumpy at end. It was raining buckets when landed late at 11:10am & taxi’d around the airport for another 15 minutes.

Tweet:
Holy Buckets Orlando! you r raining LOTS of it!
11:28 AM Dec 4th

After de-planing, I headed for baggage claim, then rental car at Alamo. I joined the their program, so I skipped the somewhat long line and checked in at the kiosk. The kiosk was a little slow and didn’t explain things well, but it sure was a lot faster than waiting in line. After a little frustration, got the receipt and headed outside to go to the garage across street. I didn’t have to stop at agent in garage either, just went straight to the car line, where indicated. I picked a Chevy Cobalt, which rode great! I took some time in the car to get used to it, set up my GPS, reread the receipt. I was correct at $188.08, using Costco code and $30 coupon.

The longest line was at the exit since they were selling the pre-payment gas & toll program. Total rip-off! And made the line looong.

It was raining, raining, raining! On the road and first toll says 12:36pm & second is 12:52 for a total of $2.50. Arrived at Westgate Blue Tree and was able to check-in early at around 1pm; a 2bedroom deluxe villas – very pretty! Nicely layed out and decorated.

While checking in, some idiot decides to swing open her mini-van door and hit the rental car! No damage, but I found her and expressed my displeasure. :rolleyes1

I settled in a bit, unpack, call Jennifer to meet up at my first ADR at Raglan Road Pub at Downtown Disney.

Here are some pics of Westgate Blue Tree:

Nice decor ;)
