Could you guys give me your opinion on attending the Very Merry Christmas Party? I know you have to pay for a separate ticket. We are going to be in Disney over Thanksgiving and wondered if it was worth speeding the extra money. Any and all advice is appreciated!!! THANKS!!

We loved it last time we went at that time. I think it depends on the age of your kids and their tolerance for a late night. They do have some special things that you can't see at the time you're going without the party tickets like the special parade. If you have kids who won't melt down, staying in the park late is a great strategy to get on rides because the majority of MK stuff is open and especially later in the party the lines are super short.

We loved it. Especially since you can actually get in at 4. It saved us from using a day of our passes. We left at 12 so that's a whole day for a lot cheaper. Our kids were 2 and 3 months at the time a both passed out around 8, and miraculously the parade and fireworks and it was like the hubs and I were on a special date. My husband, a strong military man, still talks about the fireworks and even bought a few of the songs from it.

We went for the first time in December and would not hesitate to do it again!! It was so much fun to have limited crowds, the special fireworks and parade, and all of the extra meet and greets were icing on the cake!!

I totally agree with everyone! We live in SC and two years ago we did two separate, short trips-one for MNSSHP and MVMCP! We stayed one night in a value resort and just bought the party tickets each time! We had a great time at both and would do it again in a heartbeat! We are huge character fans and you are able to meet some characters that are only out for the parties. We had our picture taken with the 7 Dwarfs during MVMCP and Abu during MNSSHP-he even took my visor and tried to keep it. Aladdin was there though to keep him in check!

We love it! We're going back in December just for the party. Be sure not to use a ticket during the day . The price is actually quite reasonable. Once the crowd leaves, those with day tickets only, about 6 or 7, it is great. Very low wait times for all the rides, cookies and hot chocolate and a great parade. Can't wait to go back for it.
