Hi!

I'm at Disneyland Resort for my first visit :-). Been to other Disney Parks a lot though!

Yesterday the crowds were extremely low. During the day I walked right onto Space Mountain, Ariel's Ride, Monsters Inc, Toy Story Mania, Goofy's Sky School....
Waited for 3 Jeeps at Indiana Jones and 3 trains at California Screaming.

At Soarin' and Tower of Terror you could walk right into the pre shows. At the Aladdin show you could get great seats 5 minutes prior to the show.

Because Disneyland closed at 6 yesterday, during the night it was a bit more crowded in California Adventure. But I was too tired to stay late anyway. Around 9 at night they had fireworks at Disneyland, which confirms the rumors I heard that it closed early yesterday for a private event or something. My hotel is right where they shoot the fireworks, so it did wake me up and it was scary :-).

If anyone has questions, I can answer you tonight after the parks. I need to go to ropedrop now :).

Sounds great. We will be there on Friday. I hope the crowds stay on the low side through the weekend. :goodvibes How are the crowds for the WOC show?

Great for you! :thumbsup2
It will be interesting to hear how you found DLR, seing that you've been to all Disney parks!

Hi,

Thank you guys!

I am going to write a mini TR later :goodvibes.

WOC was a very nice show. Yesterday at around 2pm I got a fastpass for the "blue" category, but then I didn't stay in the park that late.
Today at around noon I got a "yellow" fastpass. Maybe that helps you guys determine the crowd levels.

I only arrived 15 minutes prior to the show and got an amazing spot right in the middle where "blue" and "yellow" meet. Although this was in the back part of the designated viewing area, I must say the view was fantastic. Maybe I was just lucky though.

Best of luck!!
The parks seemed a little more crowded today. Still hardly any wait at most rides. The worst I saw was Star Tours at 30 minutes most day, but thanks to Fastpass it was alright. Indiana Jones and Space Mountain seemed to be 5-10 minutes wait most of the day.

I did rope drop in Fantasyland which worked great. I was in one of the very first Peter Pan gondolas. But I have to warn you: If I had been only 2-3 minutes later I would've already waited for Peter Pan in a 15-20 Minute line. It filled up incredibly fast. When I was done with Peter Pan I walked onto Toad's Wild Ride. Then at Alice I waited 2-3 cars. After that I walked onto Pinocchio's Ride and Snow White's Ride. It was 20 Minutes past park opening that I had done all those rides. I then headed to Big Thunder Mountain where most of the train remained empty...

I hope you will get to experience low crowds, too. It is my first visit, so maybe I'm wrong but: I expect Friday and the weekend to be a lot more crowded. Lines should still be a lot shorter than in the summer, but with a park opening until midnight and a big fireworks display I'd assume the parks should be busy.

Low crowds on Feb. 8, too. We didn't wait more than 5 - 10 minutes anywhere. Very nice weather, also.

I was there last Wednesday with those low offseason mid-week crowds... now you've made me all sad about coming home!! :sad1:

The difference on Friday and especially Saturday was REMARKABLE!! Good luck with those weekend crowds!

Oh, and fireworks were cancelled both Friday and Saturday nights. Weeping, wailing, & gnashing of teeth ensued. I caught myself juuuuust before I started stomping my feet in a full-on tantrum.
