We will be going to WDW when my son is 2 (just barely still 2) but he is a very large 2 year old (42 inches and 35 lbs) and I am wondering if I am going to get any grief at the resort or about tickets? Has anyone run into this problem or did you have to bring a birth certificate or something?

I also have a big toddler and I took everything just in case. I never needed it, but I felt better having it.

DS(3) looks like he's 4. Talks like he's older too. We went last sept when he was 2 and we had to show ID when we checked in for him and that was it. No one ever asked us otherwise when we went to the parks or anything. Id bring it with you just incase but keep perhaps a photocopy of it with you if you think it will be questioned.

DS1's first trip was the week after he turned 3. We didn't do the honest thing so we pretended he was 2. Though I rationalize that I didn't pretend because no one asked us! They just assumed he was under 3 when he didn't have a ticket. He was over 40" and over 40lbs but has a babyish face. We just made sure to have him walk in next to 6'5" daddy instead of 5'1" me! (We did buy him ticket for the next trip at 3.5 years old and will be buying them for our next trip and our second child is 3.5 years).
