Just found this thread. It's awesome. We're going on our first cruise after an 8 day stop at WDW. The time is going fast now. Jealous that other people have received their tickets. My TA said she would phone Disney tomorrow and see where ours are + plus we are hoping for news of an upgrade.

Cruising is DH, DS 12, DD 11 and myself. Only 10 more days til we leave.

Welcome aboard smeecanada and family! Hope to see you all at the Goofy Pool at 3:00.

We will also be at WDW the week before the cruise. I sure hope the temps drop a little before then.

What a great idea to meet everyone. I just found out that we have to meet with our wedding coordinator at 3:00 (maybe I can move that a up a little earlier). As soon as we are done I'll head straight to the meeting area and see if anyone is still there. What fun

By the way, several of my family members are cancelling their Dolphin Encounter excursion, they wanted a little more free time on Nassau before the wedding rather than having to be gone for a scheduled amount of time. I know that it was a sold out excursion (we had 18 reservations), so if anyone was trying to get on it, you may have better luck now.

Can't wait to meet everyone! We are staying off-site at Vacation Villas at Parkway and then staying at the Four Points by Sheraton in Coco Beach on Saturday night before the cruise. We tried for the Raddison, but it was booked solid with a convention. Four Points has a pool, beach access, a surf shop and a restaurant on site. Looked good on-line, but I have not seen much mention of it here on the boards.

Only 14 days to go and we will be at the Beach Club! I have been checking the days for the Magic Hours when we are there so we have everything all planned out in advance.

We are staying at Caribbean Beach prior to the cruise and Wilderness Lodge after the cruise.

Only 8 more days til we go.

We will also be at WDW the week before cruise....we arrive on the 17th (one night at ASsp) then to POFQ on the 18th til the 26th. The wedding is on the 21st. We will be at the P&P party on the 24th!!!

Can't wait to meet you all at the Goofy pool!

OK, I just figured out that I have posted enough times that I can now post pictures. Here is the sign that I made for the DISmeet for anyone that is not on the Yahoo group for this cruise and would like to find us on the 26th at 3:00pm at the Goofy Pool.

Yea, it worked! Now I have to get back to work on my door signs. We leave NJ in one week and I've spent all day thinking...This time next Friday we'll be leaving our house,This time next Friday we'll be at the AC airport, This time next Friday we'll be in Tampa, This time next Friday we'll be in Orlando! I know, I'm worse than the kids.

Tmli you are getting so close to the big day...you must be so excited. We are flying out on the 21st and I will be thinking of you.

Bloxy your big day is almost here also. Is the trip and wedding still a suprise for your kids? That is some big suprise to keep...I don't think I could do it.

Yes the wedding is still a surprise. I just got my dress back from the alterations and it is hanging in the coat closet. Luckily it is summer, so no one goes in there, the kids don't have a clue. I have overheard that they think we are going camping on our summer vacation, won't they be surprised. Our family vacations have always been a surprise, so this doesn't seem out of the ordinary to them yet. We have to leave our house at 3am on the morning of our departure to the airport (we have a four hour drive just to get to the airport), DH will do a Ty Pennington (Extreme Makeover announcemnet with the megaphone) to wake them up and tell them where we are going. It is going to be hilarious, the kids (6 boys) are going to be so excited. I have some Disney Cruise dvd's for them and books for them to look at in the car on the way to the airport to get them all psyched up and in the Disney mood.

Their next suprise will be when we arive in Orlando, I have rented a Hummer Limo to pick us and and take us to the Radisson at the Port, we are coming in a day early to meet the rest of our traveling party and have a reception dinner that night. They are absolutely going to freak when they see the limo.

DH and I went to the Mall of America this weekend and finished up our shopping for the cruise, so we are ready to pack our bags and go!

It will truly be a magical trip and I can't wait to get started.

I got our tickets on Saturday and have been online and filled out the forms and registered the kids for Oceaneer Lab. We finally made a decision as to what we are doing in Nassau. I found a walking tour map thru the Passporter site, so we are just going to do our own thing.

Two weeks today we'll be in Nassau!

oh my gosh Bloxy I would love to see the looks on your kids faces when your DH makes the announcment on the mega phone...that will be priceless. And I am sure they will be excited about the limo as well. I am excited for you! This should be a great time for all of you.

Everyone here is getting very excited as well. I have started packing and we have our countdown on our blackboard in the kitchen. We are leaving a week from tomorrow for Orlando. We are going first to Universal for two days and then Typhoon Lagoon. This is something different for us as we always do WDW only. But we are doing most of our dinners at WDW. I booked us Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon and Ohana all at the kids requests.

Arrived safely today so really feels like we are going now!!!!!!!

Not long to go & my kids (Girls 8 & 10 & son 4) getting really excited!
