Very Disappointed with new discounts

I want a 2 bedroom villas at BCVs or BWVs but there are none for my dates, I'll keep looking though and perhaps one will appear . Hope these new rates help some .

Just gone back in through the 'non-offer' bit on the website and the 2 bedroom villa is still available for my dates so it looks like these are not included in the offer, hoping they do add them at a later date.

Me too. I wonder if it's because we're from Canada and the disney site can recognize that through our cookies, etc.? Does that mean Canadians can't book the 30% off deluxe offer that everyone else seems to be seeing for the Deluxes? (We're not going this year, but just curious for others.)

For those of you whom can only see the Canadian offer, go to the WDW homepage and scroll down to the bottom left hand corner. There is "Select an International Version" with a menu and you can change from Canada:English to USA:English (or any other language or site - like the UK one). then you will see the USA and UK offers

Called for AKL and the there were no reg. savannah rooms available and no club level. They had some pool, std, and Arusha view.

I believe that if you have an existing ressie you need to call to have it modified.

other than no value or moderates included in current deal, to my casual eye it seems to be similar to offer same time last year or am i recalling wrong?

summer rarely has any deal we've been eligible to grab, the best we could find for last summer was AAA, booked a room only.

I just called to switch to the BC or YC. No standard views already. Only water which is like 500 more. Crazy. . . she said they were gone already?

So I switched to WL. We are there for TG so I'm happy for now! I moved from a Mod to a Del for the same price.

Still think it's weird that there are no standard rooms over at the BCYC already.

There was a Pin code offer that expired on 2/28. If you were lucky enough to get one it was for 40% off deluxe as well as other discounts for other categories. There were no dates for most of June. July orearly August, but I wonder if lots of those rooms were snapped up with that Pin offer and the previous room only offer they had on the website!! I also think that they only allocate a certain amount of rooms for this discount, and then you can still get what you want if you are willing to pay rack rate

i got that one but we are going mid july so it was out. this is our next best thing. no AP rates still though!!!!

i think the BC villas might be a better idea at least we will be over there. i have to check out that thread and call a few friends who are dvc. i'm afraid it might be a huge walk for the pools!

sticker shock, i do have rooms booked w/points but wanted to check the 'deals' jik they might entice me to switch & save my points for another trip...did so last 2 years for end of July.

speaking as a pin-challenged type, rates not too shabby imo for AK/WL $232, and im sorely tempted to book the MK view for one night @ CR @ $386 just to have good seats to watch wishes.

however, im just dying seeing that the rack rates for the AS are double what i paid the same time last year, wow!!!! $163 for a valuereally?

I just ran some numbers, we are currently booked in 2 rooms at POP, DH,DD20,DD15,DS15 and myself. If we change to the Beach Club, it will only be $63 more, but we like have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. What are your opinions on changing?

We Love POP, but the funny thing is, we were originally booked at Beach Club and canceled

Has anyone seen the special offer on the Orbitz site? I still don't see it back on that site. I was curious about the free days for the park tickets, but I don't see it on the site anymore.

All categories of rooms were available for the BC at the end of July/Beginning of August. I just got off the phone and put a reservation on hold.

Well, I'm not going to say I'm fully disappointed, because any discount is better than paying rack rate . . . but, I was also hoping for a MOD discount . . .maybe the AP rates will be better?

I'm going to email DH with some rates and see where he'd like to stay in July.

Last year deluxes were 30% I think. I think you are correct that the offer is the same other than the value/mod being included.

You say you used AAA last year. Isn't AAA only around 10% off? We just joined AAA but the discounts don't appear to be very good at all, unless I'm doing it wrong....

..we will take what we can get! I had previously booked garden view at BC for 6/10-18 with a discount thru 6/14 only. I called this morning to get the discount for the entire trip and the first CM said nothing was available unless I moved up to water view. NO!!!! How could all the discounted rooms all be gone????

So...I called again and the next CM was able to split my reservation in two and get the entire time discounted! 6/10-13 from the previous reservation and 6/13-18 with the new discount.

Still hoping for a little deeper AP discount, but for now at least I am better off than before!!

Ya know, that is a good question . . .I don't know. My DH said to go ahead and book AKL Savanah View with the GP discount and we'll have to see if an AP rate comes out then I can always switch.

I know the BB offer does NOT include July at all . . .I was surprised at seeing barely any dates for the BB offer that was in our room in February, so I didn't book then . . .even for October, the BB was only for the 3rd week I believe, so I guess we'll be waiting for an AP rate or GP rate then too . . .

I just called to see what the difference would be to upgrade my reservations from CBR (rack rate) to a deluxe with the 30% off. The CM told me best deal was an additional $650 for the week!!! Does that sound right? Are the deluxes really THAT much more per night than the mods?
